今天早上面试了。

都是一些比较general的问题，自己感觉回答一般

1) walk thru resume
2) why MBA, why Canada, why Ivey
3) Short-term career goal
4) Tell us about an example that you have difficulties with your clients and how you overcome that
5) Tell us your leadership in your work
6) what have you done to help you find a job in the industries you are interested in
etc.

个人感觉Ivey的学生可能大部分把Consulting作为第一目标，像我这种想去Industry得人不多，所以面世的人说industry一般不会来Ivey campus recruiting，一般都是自己去找机会的，还问我对这些想去的公司和行业了解否，如果准备去这些行业打算怎么努力，叫我多关注行业信息，多看行业方面的咨询，杂志，等等。。。

不知道是不是准备去industry的人都是MBA申请者中的小众，学校普遍也帮不了忙，只有自己找机会。。。

翻翻老帖吧，好像是一年多前的吧，当时ivey 可是火了一把。 坛里老人应该都知道的呢。放狗收也可以吗，加上qishi二字
不多说了，可不像被花钱删tie呢

说实话ivey的那个例子当时被校方打压的很紧，不过也很符合他们的一贯做法。

这东西也不见得能一味的套用所谓的文化差异这种定义宽泛的借口。当时笑长换届, 大搞商业化国剂化但教学质量滑落的shishi, 整体排名持续下滑, 以及笑方今后打算到国内wen多钱， 加之对大陆学生一贯态度，夹渣其他一些“传统"(如当年的Rushton)和别人的”事不关己“"凑热闹”。种种的种种映射到了一个小小的中国出去的平珉身上，事情便更加热闹起来了。这类事绝非偶然，光二十年前至今就有不少，只不过好些被掩盖和扭曲了而已

那个例子呢还是天真了些，真了点，后来敏感多了些...

My interview was with Karen,it was OK not great.
The usual questions-:
Tell me about yourself?
Why Canada?
Why MBA?
Why Ivey?
Why should we offer you a seat in MBA class of 2012?
Which is your development area?
What are your target companies after MBA?
What is your backup if you do not get through these companies?

She also talked about second interview,i did'nt get it exactly

that's from my side.

Same here samparpan..though the interview went out decent..i think i could have done it better. My interview was with Darren, he is a part of consulting recruiting team at Ivey..so i would say it was from career management side of Ivey
Best of luck to other guys for the interview

Just got done with my interview with Ms. Karen. To be honest, I am not getting a good feeling about the interview! Probably I should have prepared better.

加拿大不是天堂，但是如果如果没有背景，事业上来说，加拿大绝对比国内好过的多。加拿大是属于上进者的天堂，只要你努力，脚踏实地。。IVEY的那个例子只能说明LZ 她的culture shock 太严重，不然她IVEY的，不至于现在这个样子，，本科毕业2，3 年都能50K+ or 60K+ 。。。何况她IVEY的。。可怜之人必有可恨之处！
啊，还有这事。我还以为加拿大是天堂呢。看来并非如此啊。

别的学校没问题？那些在加拿大跳桥自杀的博士是石头里面出的？

心态一定要调整好

每个国家和文化都不一样，期望太高，很多时候都是悲剧收场

别的学校没问题？那些在加拿大跳桥自杀的博士是石头里面出的？
