美国大使馆的安全保卫工作非常严格,我八点钟到使馆门口的时候见到两个佩微冲的武警战士.八点前在光华路口排队,听武警叫号.
本来我拿的是一个浅蓝色牌,在队伍中等的时候突然边上的一个窗口(五号?)打开了,叫我的名字.叫了两遍我才上去.VO是个小伙子,个子挺高,不戴眼镜.
Me: Good morning, Sir.
VO: (翻看我的材料)
VO: When did you graduate from college?
Me: in 1995.
VO: What have you been involved in after graduation?
Me: Business and computer technology etc.
VO: What are you doing now?
Me: bla...blah...a
VO: (looking at I-20) I can see this is a big sum of money. And you will fund yourself?
Me: Yes. I can afford it. Please look at my deposit certificate.
VO: (not so interested)
VO: so what will you study in University of Virginia?
Me: Strategic Management of Information Technology. (VO不说话,盯着我,只好往下说) I plan to study...... and after my graduation I will run my own xxx business.
VO: Run your own business?
Me: together with my friends. I will be a partner. I am very confident that xxx business will be promising in China bcos xxx......
VO: I am sorry I can't issue you the visa.
Me: Can you give me the reasons?
VO的逻辑: 你全自费,而这又是一笔不小的数目-->You will try to get returns in US bcos you do not have attractive offer back in China and in US you'll earn much more --> 214(b)
大家能否评点一下.我打算六月再去签一个给我Fellowship的小学校的MBA,我应该如何改进?
