[已录] Purdue MSF Interview with Don Roush [2021.01.25]

好像没什么人讨论 Don 这个面试官，发个帖让大家有些准备。 Don 是一个很和蔼的老爷爷，相当亲切，有时候还会开一些小玩笑，遇到他或可以选他面试的话完全不用紧张! 全程是用 Zoom 面试的，但他那边的网路不给力，迟到大概 15 分钟左右，面试时间大概 30-40 分钟。

开头一顿闲聊，确定我的一些基本资讯，可能在闲聊中我把自己给介绍完了，他没有按照套路叫我 introduce yourself.

以下面经：

1. Tell me about your first working experience, why did you choose that job?
2. Why Purdue, Why MSF, and Why now?
3. What are your short and long term goals?
4. Share with me your cross-culture experience.
5. Share with me your leadership experience in XX position.(他特别要我讲一个履历上的经历)
6. Any teamwork experience that didn't go well? How did you solve the conflicts? What did you learn from that?
7. Anything interesting about you outside school and work?
8. What do you think you could contribute to our team?
9. QA.

总体而言还蛮常规的，但会忽然交错问一些履历的上的东西，所以面之前还要好好看一下自己之前写了个啥，顺便讲讲履历上没提到的 insight. 最后他看到我履历上说打过篮球队，就约我一起在 Purdue 打篮球，还蛮搞笑的哈哈。

Timeline:

• 01.07 submit
• 01.14 interview request
• 01.25 interview with Don
• 02.01 receive offer
