--  Yale Interview
During the Yale’s interview, the interviewer gave me 5mins and asked me to write down my reasons to go to Yale. I wonder if others also have this writing test. If not, is it a bad sign for me?

应该是都要求了的，至少我和我知道的另外一个朋友都写。耶鲁的面试感觉是在考察英语的写和口头交流能力。

I was also required to write down the reasons why I choose Yale in 5 minutes.  My interview lasted about 1 hour, which was a little bit longer than the normal one, I guess?  The interviewer ask me how to motivate the Chinese students to be more interactive in class.  She said that their passive attitude frustrated the professors.  I guess that is the reason they focus so much on interview, especially oral communication ability.
