看大家一直在讨论R1和R2，但很少提到赶R3，甚至有的TX们宁可晚一年，难道R3就意味着no吗？

这个问题年年问呢， 每年都有人第三轮录取。但是第三轮确实很不容易，主要原因包括以下：

第一点，奖学金非常少，基本到第三轮就没有了；

第二点，录取已经在EA（如果有）及第一、二轮大部分完成，第三轮的录取数很少，同时第三轮主要用来调整整个POOL，所以非常有可能放到EA、第一或第二轮就会录取的申请者，如果在第三轮时申请可能就没有窝了。

第三点，对国际学生来讲，办理手续签证啥的时间很紧了。

R3 = 没有机会，Three reasons:

1. Number of admits in R3 are significantly smaller than R1 or R2 (I heard that a few years ago Wharton accepted less than 10 out of more than 600 applicants ... if the data is true that means that the acceptance rate for R3 is significantly lower than other rounds.)

2. In R3 you are not only competing with R3 applicants but also with Waitlist-ers R1 and R2;

3. If you are not admitted you will have a hard time to show improvements/growth when reapplying in R1 of the following year since less than 6 months would have passed.
