- What’s your name and preferred nick name?
- Will you work in the us or internationally?
I’ll choose to work in the U.S for several years and then come back to China. There’re some reasons that working in the U.S for 2-3 years after I graduate. Firstly, in the financial industry, experience of working abroad will be more helpful to my future development in China. There’re many famous companies such as Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, etc. And also, the wall street; Secondly, about the annual salary and benefits of quick and easy wealth accumulation. We all know that the Chinese RMB “yuan” is relative low comparing with dollars. Working in the U.S can better help to earn more comparing with I work in China. And finally, working in the U.S can improve my skills such as English skills like reading, writing, and also speaking and also the ability to take care of myself. - What course work have you done to prepare for your graduate study?
Some basic courses such as Micro and Macro economics, accounting for me to have a better understanding of my major, economics. And some advanced courses such as international marketing and business strategy to operating a company, etc. And then some math and computer classes can better help me to do easier in the future about my major. Finally, some classes that I interested in such as art and music, to film a trailer, design posters.. - What was your role in internship and how the experience prepare you for the grad school?
In an internship, because I’m kind of new to this job. Therefore, I will be prefer to listening to others’s ideas and record some things that I think that I can learn such as the ability to solving the emergencies. If I have some ideas of some project, I will communicate with my collages and then after listening to their opinions, I will communicate with my superior. For me, an internship experience is a chance to learn from others and improve myself; Therefore, if I meet the similar circumstances in the future, I can handle it confidently and combining with my internship experience. - Describe a project you worked on that you are the most proud of.
- How to get involved in new community and get to know your classmates The key is to become familiar with the people in the new environment as soon as possible or get to know them, to take the initiative to get to know them, at the same time to adjust their mentality as soon as possible. In a word, actively engage.

For this program, I have the chance to touch the industries that I’m interested in such as consulting, marketing, and media. Moreover, I love the atmosphere of Cornell. I’ve been to Cornell when I was 17. At that time, I was attracted by Cornell based on its environment. And also, Cornell as one of the most famous university in the World, studying in Cornell can be a very proud thing for me.
