噢噢,那可能是专业不一样了,MIS可能难一点
听几个MIS在读phd说他们还有没有听说过本领域在博士毕业前发论文成功的。
find a job everywhere...这么说是不是有点稍微夸大了?我见过不少导师带着学生二作发top刊的,甚至还有发AER的,最后去的学校似乎也没有那么好(当然还是很好,但不是top20
During my interview, one of the professors told me it takes at least 4 years to publish a paper in MIS and the other professor suggested me submit the paper at the beginning of the second year.
They said if you can publish a paper before you graduate, you can almost find a job everywhere.
Revise & Resubmit. When you submit a paper, based on referees' feedback, the editor will make a decision on whether it will be rejected or not. If the paper is not rejected, the editor will usually give a list of things you need to do to improve the paper. After this stage, the status of the paper is RR. For a paper to be finally accepted, it usually needs to go through several rounds of R&R. Depending on disciplines, an RR can mean high probability of acceptance conditional on you stratifying referees' requests.
