Laurier PhD Financial econ 面经 [2017.02.01]

做题下午收到Dr.Smith面试通知，今天早晨和Dr. Nayak 一起面了半小时。

放点面经为申请攒人品，也希望各路金融伙伴们有啥消息一定来share一下啊抱拳抱拳~~~

问题

why phd finance
why laurier
what is your research interest
how do you think the role of teaching and research? hwo is a good teacher like?（没料到。。。还问这个。。。）
概念题： repo agreement。。。瞬间懵逼。。。自己说算是一种contingent claim of financial institutions 吧。。。
what kind of econometrics class/economic model have you learned?
how do you think you can survive since the workload and depth of classes here are so CRAZY.....

最后自己的问题。

今年收两个学生，但是如我所意识到的，不给国际学生grant tuition waive。。。大家可能也不太愿意考虑这样半奖的学校吧。

差不多就这些，希望大家都能尽快面试多多分享，gradcafe上finance消息也不多，真是好忐忑啊。
