请教关recommendation form中的一些问题

--  请教关recommendation form中的一些问题
看了一下各个学校的推荐新要求,对一些问题不太理解,请教各位高手对以下问题的准确理解:
1. How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?   中 in what capacity 究竟什么意思?
2. Please indicate to which group you are comparing this candidate (i.e., co-workers, MBA graduates, etc) 比较...?
3 .Please define how long and in what context have you known the applicant, along with the peer group you are using for your comparisons.   比较...?
4. If the tables were reversed, would you enjoy working for the applicant? 难道让老板和我调个位置?
5. Please provide an example where the applicant reached beyond her/his own sphere of influence to consider, include or leverage others in the attainment of a more comprehensive solution. 具体是什么意思?影响别人达成一个解决方法?

1. 我觉得是“在什么程度上”的意思
2. 你列出的例子都可以,只要符合推荐人的身份以及他和你的关系即可
3.这个和前面两个问题类似
4.基本是要你的推荐人评价你的leadership和你处理与下属关系的能力
5.这也是leadership的一个方面,因为leadership体现在你对别人的影响力。同时也可以写你的analytical skills, quantitative skills, etc.

我觉得是推荐人和你的关系, 比如导师和学生,上级和下级,合作伙伴,或者是朋友。特别强调的是你们的熟悉和了解程度,这个比时间更重要。

2. Please indicate to which group you are comparing this candidate (i.e., co-workers, MBA graduates, etc) 比较...?

这个是指推荐人的能力,他在怎样的个人精力和经验下推荐你。你可以说你的导师有10年的带学生的经验,带过的学生有100人。或者说你的上司在大公司工作6年,做过他下属的人有几十个。

3 .Please define how long and in what context have you known the applicant, along with the peer group you are using for your comparisons.   比较...?

以上两个的总和。

4. If the tables were reversed, would you enjoy working for the applicant? 难道让老板和我调个位置?

主要强调的是合作和领导力。

5. Please provide an example where the applicant reached beyond her/his own sphere of influence to consider, include or leverage others in the attainment of a more comprehensive solution. 具体是什么意思?影响别人达成一个解决方法?

这个需要有具体的例子,不了解你的情况,就不多说了。

这两个看上去怎么老觉得是问推荐人我和其他人相比如何如何啊?
