Generative AI has fundamentally transformed the landscape of creative tasks, prompting a reevaluation of our economic systems. This transformation raises several pressing questions: How should we restructure our economic frameworks to fully integrate the workforce? Will traditional methods of conducting creative work undergo a radical upheaval? What impact will generative AI have on market research and data analysis? How can the workforce adapt to these emerging economic paradigms? In this excerpt from IMBA lecture, Dr. Yanwen Wang will provide an economic perspective on the challenges and opportunities presented by generative AI, shedding light on its implications for individuals and economies alike.
