HKUST 面经 [2023.02.07]

BG:财经 211 本，小语种管理 + 会计（85）；新加坡专科技校 MiM（4.0 DeansList）；GMAT 700；IELTS 7.5（6.5）。本科一段德国 top2 summer school，硕士一段欧洲 top2 academic exchange。两段本科 & 硕士本校的 academic RA（说水也水，说不水也可以聊个半小时），一段 industry RA internship，两段 academic TA，plus 一堆无关紧要的 industry internship.两封 RA 老板的推荐信（私认为很强的推），一封 TA 老板 big name的中强（？）。无论文发表，MiM 也没有毕业论文要求，好在本科英文写的论文拿了个 A，跟着 research proposal + 美赛 + project coding 一起交了。

HKUST：一位 assoc prof 一位 AP。因为两位 referees 都是 interviewer 的朋友，整个面试都比较 casual，但正是这样的氛围反而让我感觉发挥不是很好，很多问题后来想来都觉得回答得不妥。不过他们主要聚焦在我为什么不留在硕士的学校继续读 PhD，以及我的 research proposal 有没有拿给 referee 看过。
