[已录] UBC MBAN 面经 [2021.11.30]

今年的面试是通过 Zoom 进行的，大部分面试题目可以在 CD 找得到。面试官是个小哥哥，名字叫 Bow Cheung.小哥哥人很 nice，会加以解释自己问的问题，就是说话语速有一点点快，要仔细听。下面分享一下 background，timeline 和面试题目啦。

Background: 本科在 Nanyang Technological University，读的会计（现在在 final year）。有四段实习经历，两次在政府部门，一次在 corporate bank，一次在 sovereign fund management company.GMAT 690.

Timeline:

• 10.10 递交申请表格
• 11.03 学校通知开始审 application （因为有资料没补全，所以会拖这么久）
• 11.08 收到面试邀请
• 11.30 面试
• 12.10 拿到 offer 和奖学金

面试题目：

1. Why MBAN?
2. Why UBC?
3. Long-term and short-term career goals. (这里要准备的充沛一点，问得特别细，包括以后想做的职位以及几年实现这个目标）
4. What is your weakness?
5. Share a time when others do not understand what you are saying.
6. How can you contribute to the program?
7. Share a time when you take an initiative to take up a project.8. The program is very rigorous, how do you take care of your mental health?
8. What is your hobby?
9. What other programs did you apply to? How would you rank them?
10. Share a time when you use data analytics to solve a challenging problem.
11. Any questions?

整个面试过程差不多 50-60 分钟，讲到最后有点缺氧。

个人建议：仔细阅读 program website，熟悉他们的 curriculum.比如网站上有他们 program 的 unique selling points，这些都可以放在面试题目准备里。除此之外， 还得把 CD 上面的题都整理出来，准备好这些题，再回想一些之前实习（或者工作），小组合作，以及做公益的经历。这样就能准备个七七八八了，至少心里有个底。

还是那句话，希望大家都能拿到心仪的 offer 呀。
