I can learn the big picture of business and prepare well for career as a financial risk manager or other flexible options. ②I found the finance quite attractive to me during the process of learning the course of finance . Finance draws heavily on the tools of math; I enjoy it a lot and have gained the sense of achievement when I am learning it. So from the perspectives of career path and my own interest, I think finance would be a good choice for my master’s degree.
UCL:①I think the curriculum setting of it is well designed to prepare me for ideal job while providing an excellent foundation in business and financial modeling. ②its location and career service is quite suitable for me. London is one of the most important international financial centers on the world and the career service department of it is willing to provide many activities to help its students to network and be more professional.
So based on the facts mentioned above, I believe studying finance at ucl will be a fantastic opportunity for me to achieve my dreams. -

Do you have any learning experience in mathematics, statistics and economics？How do you describe your experience? Be specific.
Yes of course, I have learned Calculus like integration and differentiation for one and multiple variable functions, field theory and infinite series, probability theory, statistics and classical statistics with MATLAB application, Microeconomics, macroeconomics and financial econometrics.
As for my experience, I think I felt challenged sometimes but also very satisfied. I have been interested in math since I was a child, so I can find great pleasure when I was learning anyone of them. And difficulty never discourages me, indeed it will make me more excited, the harder the problem is, the more accomplishment I will get after I solve it successfully. -
Where do you see yourself 5 years after graduation from UCL?/ 3 years
In the best case scenario,after completing my Master's degree, I plan to work in the venture capital industry, doing financial risk management at a big company like KPMG to gain work experience in risk identification and management. In three to five years,I would like to work as an investment analyst in a venture capital fund company in china, where I can apply the knowledge and experience I gained to measure the risk and return of investment projects. -
What is your best quality? Do you have any personality would you like to change if you could?/ Which point of your personality you would like to change if you could?
To be honest, I think my best qualities are optimism and persistence. Optimism gives me power to face up challenges and persistence makes me try my best until succeed.
I would like to change my shy personality if I could. I want to be braver and more frank when face no matter friends or strangers since I always believe that my shyness made me lost many opportunities. So although I am not as shy as before, I still want to change my personality into a more outgoing and active one. -

I think I can do quite well in all these things, especially in working under pressure and time management, so I will give these two a four and the others a 3.
Firstly, I think working under pressure and time management are inseparable, which means that time management is an indispensable method used to help me work effectively under stress. In this way, I can allocate each part of my time to the most appropriate work, and I am quite good at it. Actually I have done three very difficult jobs perfectly at the same time.
Beside I think these two can be entirely controlled by myself, while the other three are more affected by objective factors, for example although I believe I have a strong resiliency and can adapt the bad environment quickly, I may still lose my life if I am in the desert without water. And as for teamwork, it is unavoidably influenced by the group members. Our team won’t do quite well if anyone in the team doesn’t finish his or her part of work on time. So I can’t promise that I can always do these three things very well and I only can give them a score of three.
