HEC MBA 2021 面经 [2021.02.18]

楼主 BG:工科背景，985 本科，欧洲硕士，GPA top 1%，经验 4.5 年，欧企项目经理，兼职产品经理，GRE 324，T waived

Timeline:

其中一个面试确定很快，一周内搞定，另外一个还在等.

一面是一个阿拉伯法国裔的酒店业大佬，一脸严肃，偶尔挤出一点笑容，感觉怕怕。

Presentation 讲了自己的经历，感觉也没有计时。 no questions. 只说了 it is really nice.但感觉自己讲的太激情澎湃了，略过，要改进。

面试开始：

Where are you based?
How old are you?
What do you on weekends?
What do you study for your master?
Did you study same major in China? 顺道引申到了小时候的理想，本来想活跃下气氛，结果大佬一脸严肃在记笔记，又尬了一下。
What is your takeaway living in ...? Bad sides? Give one example.
Is your family in China? How you manage living abroad so long?
What is your post MBA goal? Why consulting? 语气很重的问了为啥要 consultiing，心里一虚，又开始引申，顺便引申出了我读 MBA 想转行的心情。
Tell me about your work and one example.
Tell me about one complications you just encountered.
Do you plan to go back to China sometime?
If you plan to go to consulting, why not INSEAD 回答了 INSEAD 学期太短，大佬点头表示赞同。
When is your second interview? Let me know 笑容满面的 (我一脸问号？不是不能商量）

My questions:

What is the biggest impact after your MBA? 回答的很犹豫的感觉，一度感觉是不是没啥收获。
What do you think the job prospects for 2021 intake? It depends，那肯定啊，不过说 consulting 应该还可以，因为 looking into future.
How did you become the class president? (因为在邮箱地址签名里，就顺手问了）回答最详细的问题，讲了好几遍。
Did you join any women leadership network? Feminist 的点完全踩雷，本以为…，结果，大家这种东西还是要谨慎，虽然感觉也不会影响结果，但是那一瞬间的尴尬还是令人窒息。

总体非常随意，感觉都是现想的问题，经典问题一个也没有。到想问题的时候小眼珠乱动，那个意思。不过还是很愉快的道别了，说了句 it was perfect for me. 咱也不知道啥意思，咱也不敢问。

攒个人品，期待二面。加油大家！

HEC MBA 2021 intake 二面

一位投行的丹麦大哥，长得非常和善，看起来就笑嘻嘻的，感觉很好。

一开始先寒暄了下背景，说现在中国咋样啊啥的，非常好的缓解了压力，气氛热热的。然后先开始 interview questions.

Where are you based? Which city are you in?(comment: not so far from me, 气氛又热热的）
Are you currently in China?
Which intake you are in?
Have you talked with people from HEC or just by emails?
Where are you in the process?
Have you applied to other business school?
Who is the other interviewer? 咋都想知道，是都认识咋的？

Presentation 10 mins, 没有问题，全程姨母笑地看着摄像头，希望大佬觉得有趣啊。

Why MBA? （回答完说答得很好，偷笑）
Why consulting? 因为说了想转行。
What is your positive and negative side when working with people from different cultures?
Are you a team player or individual contributor?
How you work with people from various backgrounds? 大佬一直点头，不知道是认同还是习惯啊。
What do you think this MBA will give you and how Paris life will give you?
Where is the location you plan to work and stay? 我回答了 short term, long term.

Questions for him:

How do you think Covid-19 will impact the program and how you think I should overcome it?
What is the best value you have in this MBA 大佬回答了 network，说欧洲的 MBA 和美国的还不一样，都是三十岁左右，有硕士学历的人来读，说了那个年代都是法国的 engineers来读，跟他们一起学到了很多去艰苦地方生活的经验。（这算哪门子收获）
How did you find the job switch after MBA?大佬坦诚并不简单，短期内看不太到优势，但是长期一定 pay off.
还分享了当时 HEC 的 career office 并不咋样，暑期实习设计的也不合理啥的，但是这么多年来一直在改进，还说最值得拥有的就是强大的校友资源，到哪里都是一个 big family.

全程只花了 40 分钟，非常高效了，最后分手道别，祝我 good luck，我想说你也得帮帮忙啊，光 luck 管啥用，行吧，就酱。
