If I have unlimited funds and can travel to anywhere in the world, I’d like to go to America for the following reasons. First of all, the united states welcome people of different races and nationalities. I can meet a lot of people from different backgrounds and even work with diverse groups, which will enrich my life and even provide me with a new way to think of the world. Maybe I can learn another language and experience different cultures there. The second reason is that America has good economy. There are many big companies in the united states like Apple, Google and Facebook. Therefore, I think it will be a great opportunity to visit some famous companies, see how they have changed the world and learn from their advanced products. The third reason is that there are many beautiful places in America like Yellow Stone park and the Grand Canyon. I really like to explore spectacular views of these places. Being close to nature makes me feel relaxed and, it is a nice break from my busy city life. Thus, America is a wonderful destination for me.

If I have the opportunity to live in another country with unfamiliar language, I’d like to choose Japan for the following reasons. First of all, most people in modern cities of Japan have learnt English, which means unfamiliar language will not be a barrier for me. For example, if I choose to come to Tokyo, I can speak English with local people when I have to ask for directions and to order food in the restaurants. I will not worry about being confused by Japanese. The second reason is that there are many beautiful places in Japan like Mount Fuji. If I am lucky, I can see pink cherry blossoms on both sides of the mountain road in March. I really like to explore spectacular views in Japan. Being close to nature makes me feel relaxed and relived, which is a nice break from my busy city life. And the third reason is that Japan is a typical powerhouse for animation. Japanese animation occupies an important position in the world by virtue of the innovative plots, and is the leader of the world's animation culture. I remember watching Miyazaki's animated movies when I was just a little girl. Therefore, I’d like to visit some animation museums in Japan.

  3. Ed1:你认为是否需要考虑到不同文化的同学的感受(大致)
Ed2:Whether it is important for students to learn that people with different culture have different values with them?
First of all, with approximately 190 countries and 7 billion people on earth, it is not hard to imagine that many diverse cultures exist. America has been shaped by native Americans, Asian African, Latin American and Middle Eastern countries. That’s why the term "melting pot" fits America, as different cultures have contributed distinct flavors. To me, cultural diversity means merging different cultures; introducing good aspects of your culture to others, but also accepting the positives of a new culture. If we put aside any prejudices or biases we might have and we are open to other people, it can help prepare us to listen, talk and learn about other people and their cultures. The second reason is that cultural diversity has become very important in today's world. Whether we work or study or even stay at home, our chances of interacting with people from various races, ethnic groups and cultures is far greater now than it has been ever before. By learning about people of different cultural backgrounds, we can increase our horizons, have better interpersonal dialogue and communicate more on a personal level.
  4. 如果有一个商业企划可以在你自己的国家很成功,make much profit in your own country,但是insensitive in other culture,, will you accept?
First of all, with approximately 190 countries and 7 billion people on earth, it is not hard to imagine that many diverse cultures exist. America has been shaped by native Americans, Asian African, Latin American and Middle Eastern countries. That’s why the term "melting pot" fits America, as different cultures have contributed distinct flavors. If a company’s project is insensitive in other culture, it can be a barrier for people listen, talk and learn about other people and their cultures. The second reason is that this will hurt other people’s feelings. If this company’s project is insensitive in other culture. People from different cultures will regard it as a disrespectful behavior and even an insult, which will definitely do the damage to the company’s image in other countries. In the end, the project will not work out as planned in other countries.

  5. Ed1: your friend offers you a job in another country, which country would you choose, what job would you choose and why?
Ed2: If you were scheduled an interview for a new job in a country rather than your own, which country would you choose and why?
    America
First of all, as we all know, America has good economy. There are many big companies in the united states like Apple, Google and Facebook. Therefore, I think it will be a great opportunity to visit some famous companies, see how they have changed the world and learn from their advanced products. I’d like to choose a job as a data analyst. Generally speaking, a data analyst will retrieve and gather data, organize it and use it to reach meaningful conclusions. Companies in nearly every industry can benefit from the work of data analysts, from healthcare providers to retail stores to fast food chains. The insights that data analysts bring to an organization can be valuable to employers who want to know more about the needs of their consumers or end users. I have leant some math and statistical skills and business intelligence and analytics tools in the university. With my undergraduate backgrounds, I am ready to dig into the specifics of life on the job as a data analyst.

  6. Ed1: if you have the chance to spend one hour with global famous celebrities, but he cannot say anything, who will you choose and why?
    Ed2: 如果你可以选择和一位名人见面,你会选谁,为什么?
If I have the opportunity to spend one hour with global famous celebrities, I’d like to choose Bill Gates, one of the wealthiest people in the world. First of all, he established Microsoft, which is one of the most successful companies all over the world. He worked really hard in the company to achieve his goals. Sometimes, he could barely sleep in three days in order to edit the codes. I really admire his spirit of hard work. The second reason is that he knows his strengths and weaknesses clearly, and I want to learn from it. He is not good at socializing with others, but good at programming. Because of his self-knowledge, he was able to assign tasks to people with suitable skills. Thus, I want to learn about how he found out his strengths and shortcomings. In this way, I can better prepare myself in the workplace. And the third reason is that he set up Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the biggest foundation in the world. He lives an abstemious life, and donated a lot of money to this foundation. We should follow his path to help others.

  7. Where would you like to if you can go back to 100 years ago? You can choose any country except your own.
I’d like to go to England if I can go back to 100 years ago for the following reasons. First of all, the second industrial revolution took place in Britain in this period. Advancements in manufacturing and production technology enabled the widespread adoption of technology system such as telegraph and railroad networks, gas and water supply. In the same period, new technological systems were introduced, most significantly electrical power and telephones.

  8. 你要通过什么学习别的国家的 tradition?
I can learn other countries’ tradition by following social media about my chosen tradition. A great thing about the internet is that it has made the world smaller and more accessible than ever. You can find people from cultures all around the world on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Following people or organizations from other traditions on social media is a great way to directly learn from that tradition about things like their values, cuisine, and fashion. I can be specific when looking up information about other traditions on social media. Search for the accounts of notable figures in that culture, or look up webpages dedicated to specific parts of that traditions, such as fashion, entertainment, art, or politics. Looking up online videos is another form of social media that allows passive watching or interaction. There are many channels on YouTube dedicated to a specific tradition. Often, these videos are produced by people that come from that tradition, or know a lot about it. I can ask questions in the comment sections of YouTube videos.

  9. 你负责两个国家之间的一次文化交流活动,这两个国家必须是地理距离远的,问选择哪两个国家,为什么?
I’d like to choose America and China for the following reasons. First of all, the relationship between China and the United States is an important part of international relations, so cultural exchange activities between the two countries are necessary. Directly experiencing something is the best way to learn. Therefore, cultural exchanges allow one to experience another culture by living and learning about languages, customs, traditions, lifestyles, food, social structures. The second reason is that there are stereotypes and misconceptions about China which are believed across the united states like, all Chinese people look the same, which is absurd. Cultural exchanges help us fight against them by representing our real selves by interacting with those who have never met us before. These activities can teach people in two countries to put aside any prejudices or biases they might have and they are open to each other, it can help prepare them to listen, talk and learn about each other and each other’s cultures.

  10. 如果你只能选一个 currency 作为 international currency,选什么为什么
I’d like to choose U.S. dollar as international currency. A global currency is one that is accepted for trade throughout the world. According to the international Monetary Fund, the U.S. dollar is the most popular currency. As of the first quarter of 2019, it makes up 61% of all known central bank foreign exchange reserves. What’s more, the relative strength of the U.S. economy supports the value of the dollar. America is almost the strongest country in the world, especially on economy, which reflect that U.S dollar plays an important role in global economy. So I would like to choose U.S dollar as international currency.

  11. What's the famous destination you want to visit and why?
If I have unlimited funds and can travel to anywhere in the world, I’d like to go to America for the following reasons. First of all, the united states welcome people of different races and nationalities. I can meet a lot of people from different backgrounds and even work with diverse groups, which will enrich my life and even provide me with a new way to think of the world. Maybe I can learn another language and experience different cultures there. The second reason is that America has good economy.

  12. Imagine you could introduce a product unique to your part of the world to another culture. What product would you choose and what culture would you introduce it to and why?
I’d like to introduce hotpot to western culture. It has a history of more than 1000 years in China. First of all, hot pot is super diverse. People with different cultural backgrounds in western countries are likely to have various eating habits. Whether you’re vegetarian, are not into spicy, are a picky eater, or prefer to eat adventurously – there is something for anyone when it comes down to hotpot. There are dozens of ways to eat hot pot, and there is always a way that will suit their needs. Second, hotpot is active and social. Whereas killing time in between courses and trying to keep conversations going on a table at Western restaurants can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, hotpot is such a social and active way of eating that this problem is automatically solved: hot pot is a natural icebreaker. People cxan talk about the quality of the vegetables and discuss whether or not the meat is ready yet. The atmosphere will be always lively. Third, hotpot is an experience in itself. In various ways, hotpot is more than a dish-it is an experience. For those unfamiliar with Chinese culture, joining Chinese friends or colleagues for a hotpot dinner can give valuable insights into Chinese culture and the importance for certain foods, ingredients and combinations.

  1. 你要为一个小国家建造一个clean water project, 谁会在你的团队里面,why?
If I have to set up a clean water project in a small country, water experts, sponsors, some financial staff and well-trained workers will be in my team. First of all, water experts are specialized in clean water areas. They can give me some advice about how to organize the whole project and what water purification equipment to buy. It will guarantee that this program works effectively. Second, I will need sponsors in my team to fund the project. Money is necessary when I want to run this project. I need money to buy some equipment, to pay for workers, and to be reserves. If I do not have sponsor in my group, I’m not able to run this project at all. Third, some financial staff are important when I have to manage the fund after sponsors donate money to this project. They are capable of tracking and recording the expenses, and even give me some advice about making a reasonable budget. In this way, there is always a positive cash flow. We do not have worry about running out of money before we finish this project. Last but not least, skilled workers are essential when it comes to building something. This project needs workers to build plenty of water pumps, build some river channels and install purification equipment, which is very difficult for untrained people.

  2. 如果你有一件东西想要donate给charity,你会选择捐什么?
If I want to donate one thing to charity, I’d like to choose books for the following reasons. First of all, it will make space for new books. At some point books are getting deformed, attacked by book mites and being silently thrown away by my mother. Rather than making your books face some painful end, give them away and make way for those new books I am planning to read. The second reason is that I get to spread the spirit of reading. For most readers, reading has changed our lives. It has opened up our world to all sort of places, people and ideas. By donating my books, I give other people the opportunity to discover for themselves that one book that could change their life. Passing on my books to someone lese is the simplest way to spread the spirit of reading. Third, it will make me happy. Studies have shown that giving wholeheartedly translates to personal happiness. In donating books, I make other people happy as I make myself happy.

  3. Ed1:如果你有一笔资金用于donation 你会捐助到什么地方?为什么?
I’d like to donate money to some schools in African schools especially in Afghanistan for the following reasons. First of all, children in some regions of Africa have suffered as a result of the convergence of risks. For example, a child may be forced to migrate and to work on the street to support the family unit, which always bring sexual or physical abuse in the violent environment. However, if schools are available for Afghanistan children, they can study in the school where they should have been at their age and will not be exposed to dangerous places. Second, education plays an essential role in children’s life. When it comes to dreams, education is extremely important. Almost everyone has dreams as well as Afghanistan children. Schools provide children with knowledge for different subjects, which they can apply in daily life. In this way, it can help turn their dream into reality. Third, it will make me happy. Studies have shown that giving wholeheartedly translates to personal happiness. In donating money to schools, I make other people happy as I make myself happy.

  4. 是否我们有责任帮助穷人?为什么?
Well, the ethical debate over whether or not people have a moral obligation to the poor is one that is fiercely discussed among many. Some believe that we live in a cruel dog-eat-dog world, where some just have to suffer because not all can survive. However, I believe that we have the responsibility to help the poor for the following reasons. First of all, all people should be able to have equal opportunities to live a life free of suffering through the financial aid of materially fortunate people of the world. However, poor people do not have enough money to support such life. They are unable to pay the rent, to buy health insurances, to buy fresh food, or to raise their children in good conditions. Many people in such situation have to live in places full of dangers but low expense. It is a vicious circle. Therefore, we are responsible to care about them since we all stick to the moral obligation. Second, it will make me happy. Studies have shown that giving wholeheartedly translates to personal happiness. In helping people in bad conditions, I make them happy as I make myself happy.

  5. 如果有人对你做了不道德的行为你会怎么做?结果怎么样?(队友)
It is no surprise that addressing unethical behavior can be very complicated especially in the workplace. Many chose to remain silent, even though people may notice objectively unethical practices occurring. For me, I will try to identify which of my values are being violated by the unethical situation when deciding if and how to address the concern. I remember once when my team had to complete a research report, my team member Lisa did not want to finish her job and hung out outside the school. We could not find her for several days and rather, finish her job instead, which made us angry about her. Before responding to this unethical behavior, I spent several minutes weighing the pros and cons of doing so. Then, I just discussed my concern with Lisa without blame, since we had to work together afterwards. I just said that:” I am a little worried that our report would not be perfect if you did not finish your own work.” which result in her reanalyzing her actions. In the end, she promised that she would take her responsibility to complete her work. 4、Do you think you are the citizen of the world?
I believe that I am the citizen of the world for the following reasons. First of all, I respect and value diversity.

  6. 如果你有一个选择,可以短期获益,但是会在长期跟你的跨国贸易伙伴有摩擦冲突,你会选这个选择么,原因?
I will not choose this for the following reasons. First of all, this choice is short-sighted. If I want to gain short-term benefits, there will be a conflict with trade partners in long time, which means I may sacrifice some lone-term profits. Short-term benefits are so limited that I can’t rely on them or transfer them into sustainable benefits in the future. The second reason is that a Chinese old saying says:” better make friends instead of making enemies.” In this case, trade partners are just like friends. They may transport products to foreign countries, introducing our products to international market or buy products sold in my company, which occupies important parts of business. By contrast, if my company has conflicts with these partners, they may give up our products and stop the business cooperation. Thus, the industry supply chain or value chain may be broken, which will definitely do the damage to our company in long period. In general, I will not choose to gain short-term benefits and then have conflicts with trade partners in long period.

  7. 你的公司开发出来一个新产品,有助于解决 hungry and malnutrition 这类的社会问题,你会怎么向有 social consciousness 的企业家 pitch 这款产品?
First, I will tell an engaging story to create a connection. For example, this story will be perfect if it is related to the purpose of designing this product and the story of products helping some malnourished little kids in underdeveloped areas. Since this entrepreneur has social consciousness, he or she may feel like doing something for malnourished children in bad conditions, which fits our product’s purpose. By pairing the story of my product with facts and figures that back up my claims, I can quickly engage this entrepreneur to want to know more. Then, I will show he or she how my product can help solve the problem. And I will use some testimonials and case studies, which also contain statistics and figure to prove the success of my product. By tackling the problem head on, my customer will see that I have taken their needs into account and found the fix. Last but not least, I will give this entrepreneur some clear instruction on what they need to do next. By now, I ‘ve convinced my customer of the brilliance of what I am offering and next up is how he or she can take advantage of my product. Does he or she want to click a link to my website and to be an agent for our product?

  8. Ed1:You are the CEO of a company. You want to do a global health project. How will you talk to your share holders?
First, I will tell an engaging story to create a connection. For example, this story will be perfect if it is related to the purpose of designing this health project and the story of it helping some malnourished little kids in underdeveloped areas. Since my share holders have the same social consciousness as our company, they may feel like doing something for unhealthy children in bad conditions, which fits my project’s purpose. By pairing the story of my project with facts and figures that back up my claims, I can quickly engage my share holders to want to know more. Then, I will show them how my health project can help solve the problem. I will use some testimonials and case studies, which also contain statistics and figure to prove the success of my project. By tackling poor health issue all over the world, my share holders will see that my project is highly valuable, which can fix the problem effectively. Last but not least, I will show a crisis communication plan to shareholders. This crisis communication plan protects shareholders’ value by minimizing the potential harm negative information can have. In this way, they can fully trust my company and be positive about this health project.
Ed2:if you are a CEO of a great cooperation, which product/service you would like to offer, why?
If I am a CEO of a great cooperation, I’d like to offer healthy food choice in the restaurant. I mean I want to open many healthy restaurants all over the world. First of all, everyone needs to eat food every day. With busy agendas nowadays, people do not have much time for cooking and preparing their favorite dishes and meals. Having healthy food restaurants as an option, they can save their time and do other favorite activities while still enjoying the healthy food. The market is constantly growing and this gives a chance for growth and a capture of a bigger market share. The second reason is the positive influence on people’s healthy lifestyle. In the past, there were only one or two healthy restaurants, though the food prices they had were high. However, opening a healthy food restaurant with affordable prices shapes the behavior of people in the local community. It helps them to stay healthy, save money and still not spend their time on cooking. The third reason is that
    Ed3:你怎么说服股东投资一个有利于贫困地区的商业项目
First, I will tell an engaging story to create a connection. For example, this story will be perfect if it is related to the purpose of designing this project and the story of it helping some little children in underdeveloped areas. Since my share holders have the same social consciousness as our company, they may feel like doing something for kids in poor conditions, which fits my project’s purpose. ? Teamwork Conflicts

  1. Ed1: You are the team leader of a group. Your team members with different culture have the difficulties in understanding each other. What will you do? First of all, I will take the time to get to any differences, miscommunication and misconception present. This includes different languages, as well as “fault lines.” A great way to counteract miscommunication is by implementing employee self-service software. With this, my team members can easily know what is going on with each person. The software can manage several aspects of the team, including scheduled time off, questions with the work being done, and more.
Ed2: If you are the leader of a diverse team and your team members have different perspectives. What will you do and why?

  2. Tell me about a time when you received more credit than you deserved for a successful group project. What was the outcome and what did you learn?

  3. 如果你是一个leader做一个group work,你的小组成员要missing ddl了,你会做点什么把他们拉回track?
First of all, I’d like to have a conversation with him or her. I will not scream or yell, but ask what happened and whether something goes wrong. If he or she is disorganized and lacks a system for tracking deadline, I will investigate how he or she has been tracking the deadline and have him or her implement a system for tracking work and deadline- and hold he or she to it. If something else is getting in the way, I will ask the group member who has been missing deadline why it is happening. I might get additional insight into what’s causing it that you wouldn’t have known on my own. Then, I will try to help him or her solve the problem immediately and go back to the track. If someone had been regularly missing deadlines for several times before and, he or she is going to miss the deadline this time, I will treat it as a serious performance problem. I will explain to his or her that the role requires reliably meeting deadline, and, give them a timeline to get the problem under control.

  4. 你作为 leader 在团队里成员对你的能力不自信,outcome 是什么,learn 到了什么?

  5. Ed1:描述一个你觉得你比你的mentor or boss 更qualified的经历,结果是啥, 学到了啥?
When I served as an intern in Bank of China in winter in 2018, one of my tasks was to make phone calls to client who had overdue payments. In the past, my mentor used to speak local dialect when he called them to pay the mortgage. Unfortunately, the results were usually not good and, they tended to talk rudely on the phone like” You are absolutely wrong! I have already paid the mortgage this month.” In the end, they still did not pay it immediately. Things would become more complicated. And I really wanted to change the situation and fix this problem. Therefore, I just used another different tone of speech, and spoke Mandarin instead of local dialect to clients. As expected, they sensed the change in tone and a formal language, which forced them to take things seriously and to pay the mortgage immediately. Through this experience, I realized I was more qualified in this area than my mentor. It also provided me with another way to think of the problem: some “seemingly irrelevant” parts of the problem may be crucial elements. A little change could make a huge difference.
Ed2:Tell me an experience you have completely disagreed with your mentor, teacher, or boss. What is the outcome and what do you learn?

  6. tell me about a time when you needed to give someone criticism and you knew they wouldn't take it well. what was the outcomes and what did you learn?

  7. Tell me about a time when you were partnered with someone on a team project who tried to do all of the work themselves. What was the outcome and what did you learn?
When I was partnered with two other classmates Lisa and Dona in Time Series course and, we had to complete a report with a presentation, Lisa always wanted to do all of the work herself. She always said that I and Dona did not do a great job and also blame me for not functioning as expected. But, from my perspective, I and Dona had tried our best to complete our work. What’s worse, Lisa always forced me to talk with Dona about Dona’s seemingly bad performance instead of on her own, which hurt the friendship between me and Dona., Then I and Dona couldn’t do anything because Lisa did not let us do anything about this report. Finally, she slept late to write the report and deliver the speech on her own. Although the result was good, Lisa left me with impression that she did not know how to work in groups and that she was very strict with people around her. Afterwards, I and Dona were never partnered with Lisa and, she had a hard time finding teammates. From this experience, I have learnt that even though you are qualified for something on your own, you still have to learn how to cooperate with other people since humans are social beings. ? 8. Ed1:分享一下你没有得到你很想要的任务的经历,说说你学到了什么
Once I served as a volunteer in a blood donation activity in the university organized by Red Cross Society. What I really wanted to do is to hand out the brochure on campus and to introduce this activity to other students who might be interested in. However, my task was to help donors to fill in the form correctly, which was boring in my point of view. At the beginning, I did not take it seriously and made some mistakes when directing donors to complete the forms. Then, after I realized that I was not allowed to make another mistake any more, I started to take a serious attitude towards this task and to try my best to get it done. This job turned out to be my enjoyable experience because I helped many people fill in the forms quickly and save time. In the end, I did not make another mistake and was praised by the instructor. From this experience, I have learnt that although you happen to do something you don’t like, you can find the enjoyment if you are really immersed in it.
    Ed2:讲述一个你比赛得了第二名的经历,你学到了什么?
Once I participated in a math competition in the university and, I won second place in this competition. Even if I got an award for second place, it was still not first. No matter how I pretended that “everyone is a winner”, only the winners believed it was true. Then, I felt upset for several days and had no motivation to do things I was interested in. Afterwards, I started to realize that the issue here is not that we all had to come in first to show that we were doing our best. There would be times that you did your very best and still came in second or even third. The key to success is that we never settle for second place. Success-minded people always move forward with the intent of coming in first. If they come in second, they look at what they did; what they can do better; and make the changes needed. Therefore, I restarted to invest my energy into math and won first place in math competition in next year. From this experience, I have learnt that never let discouragement overtake you when you hit the second place and, allow it to inspire you to push a bit more.

  9. Ed1:an experience once you failed to keep your promise, what's the result and what did you learn?
Once I promised my mom to win first place in math competition in high school but actually, I won second place in this competition. Even if I get an award for second place, it was still not first. No matter how I pretended that “everyone is a winner”, only the winners believed it was true. Then, I felt upset for several days and was afraid to tell mom. Afterwards, mom heard it from neighbors and, she did not blame me for only second place. Instead, she said “the issue here is not that you had to come in first to show that you were doing your best. There would be times that you did your very best and still came in second or even third. The key to success is that you never settle for second place.” It was the moment that I realized that Success-minded people always move forward with the intent of coming in first. Once I had to complete a research report about ancient Chinese history of Confucian Culture in high school. However, I my grandma passed away during that period and, I needed to go home for several days to attend the funeral. Therefore, I had no time to write and submit the report and was going to miss the deadline. In order to get extension, I gave as much notice as possible to history teacher and explained why I was going to miss the deadline. I also promised that it was rare and, I would always meet the deadline from now on. Then, my teacher who I owe my work to was not excited about it but agreed my request and extended a deadline for me. In the end, I went back from home and submitted the report a week later, which met the later deadline. From this experience, I have learnt that although it is annoying that you will miss the deadline, people will be happy to extend a deadline when given a good reason since some exceptions may happen to you sometimes.

  10. Ed1: Tell me about a time when you misunderstood expectations and had to improvise at the last minute. What was the outcome and what did you learn?
Once I attended a class meeting in high school. Before the day, the monitor of the class sent every student a message that asked some students to give a 5-minute speech about the improvements in this year. But I thought I was so lucky that I would not be selected from plenty of students. Therefore, I did not prepare for it in advance. Unfortunately, the monitor of the class selected me in order of name. I had to stand up reluctantly and delivered a short speech in front of the class. After the meeting, I asked some classmates around me whether they knew the monitor of the class would select people in order of name. Surprisingly, they all knew this because the monitor of the class established the rules of selection at the beginning of the semester. It turned out to be my misunderstanding. Fortunately, I gave a good speech in the meeting and, I did not feel nervous in front of many people any more. From this experience, I have learnt that unexpected things may turn out to be good experiences to improve yourself.

  11. Ed1: Tell us an experience when you meet setbacks that you cannot solve. What's the result? What you learn from it?
When I was in high school, one can be admitted to great university only if he or she gets good grades in the college entrance examination. So, I worked really hard to prepare for this examination. Unfortunately, things did not work well and, I my grades were not as high as they were in the previous exams. I was so upset about the result that I could not sleep during the night, repeating the scene from the college examination in the brain. It was the first time that I suffered a sever setback in my life, which I could not solve. After several days of misery, the deadline for university applications reminded me that I had to clear my minds and face it with courage. There were two options for me: first, according to my current grades, choose a university that I was qualified for; second, go back to high school again and prepare for the college examination in the next year. Finally, I chose to apply for a university that I was qualified for by considering the advantages and disadvantages of two options. From this experience, setback my turn out to be a lesson if you really think through and fix it.
Ed2:你在遇到 can't make sure how to conclude an assignment or speech的时候怎么办,j结果是什么。
Once when I was in high school, I had to complete a research report about the history of ancient Chinese Confucian. However, I was not sure how to write a good conclusion paragraph in my report because there were many branches of Confucian in ancient China, and was no clear timeline. This problem had bothered me for a long time. One day, I happened to see an article online about how to conclude an assignment. In this article, it mentioned some points to remember like using your introductory paragraph as a guide, leaving your readers with something to think about and looking at what each paragraph was about, which gave me a lot of advice. Then, I really think through it and wrap up my writing by summarizing the main idea. Finally, I got an A in this report. From this experience, I had leant essay structure and some strategies for an effective conclusion. Online resources are abundant for everyone when we do not know what to do. And we should make full use of them.

In one business competition in the class, I was leader with three other members, and our tasks was to simulate running a company online, and tried to earn benefit as much as we could. After knowing the rules, I began to assign the tasks, however, since two of them were major in science, not knowing about business, and they were unwilling to learn, our process was not smooth at all. And when I asked them for some suggestions or opinions, they always kept silence and behaved negatively. Finally, almost all I did to complete the competition. And no doubt that we failed. 16. 如果你在一个new location迷路了,你会怎么做,你学到了什么?
If I am lost in a new location, I will use some strategies to cope with it. First, if it is a town or city, I will turn to local people for help and ask them how can I get to my destination. I believe that they are friendly enough to give me the right answers. Second, If I am lost in an area where there are few people, I will immediately call up my family or friends and share my location with them on social media like Wechat. In this way, someone may find these marks and then try to find me. I’ve learnt that it is essential to protect ourselves in a new location that we are not familiar with because life is most important.

There were another two interns in my group, I said hello to them, and exchange our personal information, then discussed our tasks. The whole process was kind of smooth and fortunately, my colleague and tutor were very kind and easygoing. From this experience, I learnt that we should be brave and actively communicate with others even in a strange place, keep confidence and polite, making new friends is not a difficult thing.

  27. Describe an experience when you ask for help despite feeling uncomfortable. What is the outcome and what did you learn?

  28. 和组员里一个成员想法不同 会不会和他说 outcome是什么 学到了什么?
Through this experience, I realized I was more qualified for this area than my mentor. It also provided me with another way to think of the problem: some “seemingly irrelevant” parts of the problem may be crucial elements. A little change could make a huge difference.

  29. Tell me about a time when you had absolutely no idea how to get started on an important project. What was the outcome and what did you learn(这道题已经考了很多次)
Starting can be tough especially on important or big project. The things that are stopping people from starting come in many forms. But their collective name is Resistance. And here is my experience. Once I was about to write a n reach report about the history of ancient Chinese Confucian. However, I was not sure how to write a good introductory paragraph in my report because there were many branches of Confucian in ancient China, and was no clear timeline. This problem had bothered me for a long time. So, I was not willing to write a single word. One day, I happened to see an article online about how to start an assignment. In this article, it mentioned some points to remember. This article told us not to prepare in order to get started on a big project. You would feel liberated when you heaved yourself out of the resistance and into any kind of action on your important project. Then, I followed this method and got started on my project. Finally, I finished my project successfully. From this experience, I have leant that start before you are ready. Our enemy “resistance” is not lack of preparation.

First of all, Japan welcome people of different races and nationalities. I can meet a lot of people from different backgrounds and even work with diverse groups, which will enrich my life and even provide me with a new way to think of the world. Maybe I can learn another language and experience different cultures there.

Humanity

? Self-Experience

Ed2:说一个你错过ddl的经历,结果是怎样的,你学到了什么

Ed2: Tell us an experience that something unexpected suddenly changed your plan at the last moment. What's the result? What you learn from it?

Ed3:What course you’ve struggled in most and what did you do to overcome the problems? What was the outcome?
    Ed4:你描述一个你本来觉得不可能完成,但最后完成的任务,结果是什么?
Once I served as a volunteer in a blood donation activity in the university organized by Red Cross Society. What I really wanted to do is to hand out the brochures on campus and to introduce this activity to other students who might be interested in.

  12. Ed1:在做project过程中遇到bully (?) 是怎么解决的? 结果是什么?学到了什么?
When I was partnered with two other classmates Lisa and Dona in Time Series course and, we had to complete a report with a presentation, Lisa always wanted to do all of the work herself. She always ignored my views and opinions and also blamed me for not following her order. What’s worse, she always set unmanageable workloads, that I and Dona could not finish for a limited time. But, from my perspective, I and Dona had tried our best to complete our work. Then I and Dona were not a lowed to do anything about the report by Lisa because of our seemingly bad performances. Finally, she slept late to write the report and deliver the speech on her own. Although the result was good, Lisa left me with impression that she bullied me and Dona. Afterwards, I and Dona had a conversation with her about this issue. She realized her “bullying” behavior and apologized to me. From this experience, I have learnt that even though you are qualified for something on your own, you still have to learn how to cooperate with other people since humans are social beings.
    Ed3:组员没有积极参与组内活动,问你结果和学到了什么
In one business competition in the class, I was leader with three other members, and our tasks was to simulate running a company online, and tried to earn benefit as much as we could. After knowing the rules, I began to assign the tasks, however, since two of them were major in science, not knowing about business, and they were unwilling to learn, our process was not smooth at all. And when I asked them for some suggestions or opinions, they always kept silence and behaved negatively. Finally, almost all I did to complete the competition. And no doubt that we failed. From this experience, I considered that before organize a team, I should know and communicate well with members, including their background and willingness, teammates are really important to decide the success.

  13. tell me about an experience when you met a problem but had no one to ask, what's the outcome and what did you learn?

  14. Tell me about a time when you need to make decisions between two equally bad options, which one did you choose and what did you learn? 面临两个一样坏的选择,你选了哪一个,学到了什么?

  15. 讲一个你很想参加的但又不允许你参加的club或者activity,why,结果如何?
When I just attended university at the first year, I was so interested in English club. So, I wanted to join this club. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to join English club because I could not speak English very well and I was not qualified for it. I was so upset about the result that I did not eat the lunch at that day. It was the first time in the university that I suffered a little setback. After several days of misery, my friends encouraged me to face the problem and continue studying English, which I had spent a lot of time on. Supported by my friends, I started to clear my minds and figure it out. Studying English is kind of my favorite hobby, so I would never give up on it. Then, at second year, I also applied to join in English club. Fortunately, I was successful to join in it because of my enhanced English. It was worthwhile to spend one year studying English. From this experience, I have learnt that never give up and you will make your dream come true in the future.

Then I will stay where I am and not leave until my family or friends find me. In the process, I will keep contacting with them to update my condition. If I was unfortunate, I mean, my phone has run out of power and, I could not call my family or my friends, I will try to find the main road in the area and leave some noticeable marks along my path. In this way, someone may find these marks and then try to find me. I’ve learnt that it is essential to protect ourselves in a new location that we are not familiar with because life is most important.

  17. Ed1:Describe a time when your team failed a competition because of your team members' bad performance. What's the outcome? What do you learn from that?

  18. 描述一个你收到了不公平的批评,结局是什么,你学到了什么

  19. 描述一次你丢了很珍贵的东西的经历,最后结果怎么样?你学到了什么
Once I was about to see a concert of Jay Chou in the university, but, unfortunately, I lost the ticket two week before the concert. I remembered putting the ticket in the wallet but, I could not find it anywhere. I was so upset because Jay Chou was my favorite singer and, I could not make it to the concert. After several days of misery, I started to clear my minds and tried to figure it out. Then, I just asked on the forum if anyone was willing to sell the ticket. Fortunately, a girl on the forum wanted to sell her ticket because she had an emergency on that day. Therefore, I bought the ticket and went to the concert with my friends. It was so much fun! From this experience, I have learnt that sometimes it is unavoidable to lose some precious things that we have but, how to address the problem and make up the loss is more important. We should not immerse in sadness. By contrast, we should face it with courage.

  20. Tell me about a time you went to an event where you didn’t know anyone. What was the outcome and what did you learn?
I would like to share my experience of internship in Dongxing Security. I was assigned to the development department, to do some data analysis works. At the very beginning, I didn’t know anyone there, even my colleague and my tutor. I firstly found my tutor and bravely asked what I could do and the work arrangement.

  21. a competition that you won the second place. What have you learnt?
Once I participated in a math competition in the university and, I won second place in this competition. Even if I get an award for second place, it was still not first. No matter how I pretended that “everyone is a winner”, only the winners believed it was true. From this experience, I have learnt that never let discouragement overtake you when you hit the second place and, allow it to inspire you to push a bit more

Fortunately, my team won the second place. However, two of other three team member also had this honor which they were not deserved. Although I was a little angry, I could do nothing. From this experience, I considered that before organizing a team, I should know and communicate well with members, including their background and willingness, teammates are really important to decide the success.

  24. If you are asked whether or not you could help solve the problem of the world, what will you respond?
yes first of all, I can use my professional knowledge to help solve the problem of the world like personal information leakage. I think I can make full use of my knowledge to contribute to it.
warm-hearted I always do some voluntary work in the university which helps some people in poor conditions I will continue doing voluntary work to help people live a better life.

  25. tell me about a time when you became lost while traveling in a country other than your own. What was the outcome and what did you learn?

  26. 你最想要从别的文化中学一样东西,你会选什么?为什么

  27. Describe an experience when you ask for help despite feeling uncomfortable. What is the outcome and what did you learn?

  28. 和组员里一个成员想法不同 会不会和他说 outcome是什么 学到了什么?
