Sorry for not being able to write this earlier. I got my visa last Thursday in BJ. Many thanks to friends here with similar dreams and kindness.

Part 1. About the interview.

Got to the Embassy in the morning and then the regular procedures. When I was called by the VO, I recognized that he was the one that rejected me last time. So I said to him:"Nice to meet you, again." He was a little surprised and then checked my previous DS forms for a minute. Then he asked me whether I would like to be interviewed by another VO. I replied that I would prefer so. Therefore, I was led to another VO, who seemed to be of higher rank--not sure, just my intuition.

Questions were common ones. Purpose for pursueing an MBA, post-graducation plan, current employment, and so on. Without even mentioning the money or scores. But that might be related to my particular case. I have been working in the finance industry for quite some years and with a scholarship. As for the scores, I do think that the VOs do not care much about them.

Actually, I don't think that I had had any significant changes but the communication with VO on that day was much better than the previous ones. I did express my thoughts about persuing an MBA, which were really what I have in my mind.

I kept on talking. not sure about how long it took exactly. Finally, the VO told me that he was convinced. And that's it.

Part 2.  My 2 cents

I guess that the visa interview is a comprehensive procedure. Totally agree with some friends on that VOs make their judgement on the overall impression the interviewees leave. Try to do better on the relevant items, the tidiness of DS forms, the complexion on your face, the confidence in your heart, and so on.

Be sure to show the VO the sparkling points of you. Have confidence in yourself and also have confidence in the VO's ability to understand you. I know that things are not always so. But having that kind of belief in your mind sometimes helps you to perform better.

Don't worry too much about the so-called "Ying Shang", such as being single, too long or too short working experience, etc. Most people have their own advantages and disadvantages. Those alone cannot be the decisive factors.

Part 3. Good luck to all!
