UCI MIE 创业创新 Kira 面经 DIY申请 [2019.02.28]

分享一下UCI business school的Kira面经。

2月19提交申请, 上周提交的Kira录制。

跟别的专业2到4个问题不一样，Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship（MIE） 有7个问题。

1. When you think of a successful entrepreneur, who comes to mind and why?
2. What was your greatest failure and what did it teach you?
3. What drives you to keep going when things get tough?
4. What differentiates you from other MIE candidates?
5. What would you do if you had unlimited resources?
6. What was the last project you headed up, and what were the results?
7. What does an ideal day look like for you?

根据之前大神整理的31道题目，还有Jack的分享。

我整合更新了一下，分享在下面。

加粗部分为重点多次出现的题目，最后3题为新出现的题。

出现的三道新题，也可能是MIE订制的？

1. What big decision did you make recently, and how did you go about it?
2. What was your greatest failure and what did it teach you?
3. What would you do if you had unlimited resources?

准备方法：

1. 总结题目。
2. 根据用STAR method（Situation/Task/Action/Result）写一些outline。
3. 完善答案，自己修改+别人修改。
4. Practice！
5. 临场发挥， Kira虽然是录视频，也要注意eye contact，眼神交流和述说的语气会更有说服力啦。

Situation/Task/Action/Result（ STAR method）

Introduction about yourself:

1. Tell us about yourself.
2. Three words to describe you by your friends?
3. What do you do for fun?
4. Describe your ideal day.
5. Where did you grow up? / Talk about your hometown?
6. Role model/ who are your role models and why?

About your undergraduate college time:

1. What was your favorite part about college?
2. Tell us about your most satisfying and most disappointing experiences.
3. What are your previous professional experiences? How they influenced your decision to start (MIE) study at this point?
4. News skills learned last year.
5. What volunteer or social activities have helped you develop professional skills?

About your qualities/ capabilities: （solve problem）

1. Your advantages over other candidates/ What differentiates you from other MIE candidates?
2. Weakness.
3. Tell me about a time when you were able to help improve a work procedure by making good suggestions to your supervisor or co-worker.
4. Being able to learn quickly on the job is important. Tell us about a situation when you had to pick up an essential skill quickly.
5. What would you do if you disagree with other team members? Example?/with your supervisor, how did you deal with it?
6. Describe your leadership style.
7. How would you describe your leadership skills?
8. What was the last project you headed up, and what were the results? / 你近期 headed up （领导）的一个 program.
9. Give us an example of how one of your strengths has benefited you when working in a team environment. Teamwork.
10. Describe a demanding situation that you were faced in which you managed to remain calm and composed. How did you solve the problem?
11. Tell me an example about how you solve problems/ describe how you go about problems/ challenge. Example?有专门问在团队中遇到问题的。
12. Give us one example of how well you work under pressure.抗压能力。

3. Where do you see yourself in three years/ 10 years?
4. What motivates you to be successful?
