Speaker's Bio:
Michael Ibekie
Michael Ibekie was born and raised in Nigeria. He immigrated to the United States of America in 2000 with his 10 brothers and sisters. He graduated with Honors at Indiana University-Bloomington Kelley School of Business with a major in Business Economics and Public Policy. While in school, he interned at Goldman Sachs as an Equity Research Analyst and went on to co-found Green Airport Shuttle, a transportation company located in Chicago, Illinois. Michael went on to receive his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and interned at Cisco Systems as a Product Manager for the company's Collaboration Team. Michael currently works and lives in Seoul, Korea at Samsung Electronics as a Global Corporate Strategist. He has 4 years of MBA Admission Coaching Experience. His mentees have received interview and admission offers from top 20 business schools including Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Chicago, UC Berkeley Haas, Columbia and Michigan University.
Elliott Davis
Elliott Davis was born and raised in the United States. He first traveled internationally as a third-year college student, enrolling in the exchange program at the National University of Singapore. Since then, he has gone on to travel and/or work in 35+ countries (including several months in China). Academically, Elliott earned a BS in International Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has held internship and full-time strategy positions with Wells Fargo Bank, Google, and Samsung. Currently, he lives in South Korea and supports Samsung Electronics' Leadership Center as the Head of Diversity and Inclusion. Elliott has a passion for mentoring and advising prospective MBA students. His mentees have attended Harvard, Stanford, IE Business School in Spain, Yale, NYU, Duke, Michigan, and UC Berkeley.
