UCSD MSBA 面经 [2017.03.16]

本人工作党，R3申请的UCSD MSBA，面试时间选了周五早上，特地请了半天假来面试。

面试官是Emily Dayton，金发美女，非常友好，总是说great, fantastic, wonderful，似乎是在给我鼓励。

Q1. Introduce your background, why you are interested in BA
Q2. With your working experience, why do you want to choose MSBA
Q3. What programming language do you use at work?
Q4. Rady uses R a lot, do you have experience in R, SQL, SAS?
Q5. Do you know machine learning? Have you heard of linear regression, multi-variable, etc?
Q6. What is the most challeging and technically most difficult project you have worked on?
Q7. If you were admitted, what do you think you will bring to the program?
Q8. What do you think would be the most challenging things for you in MSBA?
Q8. What do you do outside your work? Any extra curricular interest, hobby?
Q9. What questions do you have for me?

我问了

今年收多少学生？ - 答60
如何抵达san diego？ - 答机场大概距离学校15miles，有学生宿舍但是非常competitive。大部分学生住在离学校15-20分钟的地方，那里有很多local & international students。学校停车位也非常competitive。
MSBA才经营一年，career service怎么样？
这题emily回答了很久：学校和企业有合作，鉴于confidential的原因，我只能跟你share几个 - CISCO, HP, TESLA, San Diego Children's hospital, social gaming companies。
课程里有capstone project是和企业合作的，学生可能在那里找到internship, full-time job。学校的career service每周会有一个career acceleration活动，除此之外每个学生都会有1-to-1的career service。
Mr. RADY是一个san diego的富商，他还活着，还联合了很多其他富商投资rady，因此rady钱很多，前景很好

我问完了以后，emily就说我还有几点要mention的

如果你admit了，你若需要，可以介绍一个现在在读的msba学生认识，你们可以交流交流，问问他作为在读学生的感受，feel free to email me if you need it.
10-14天之后你会知道结果
我们有merit based fellowship，但是competitive，你admit之后要留意email，可以申请
