Well, I considerbirthday to be a really meaningful day, because it means another year haspassed and I have to face more responsibility. Therefore, in order to express my thanks to those who have helped me alot, I would treat my meal for a meal and have fun together. Besides, I havemake it a rule every year to spare some time to stay with myself alone. I wouldwrite some words to my beloved ones and also I would reflect on my past yearand write myself sth to learn from the mistakes and plan for the future. Inthis way, I can make my birthday very memorable and get prepared for next year.
3. What’s the best suggestion you received?
The best suggestion Iever received comes from my mother. She told me to be more tolerant to myself.When I first stepped into university, I soon found out that I am not the bestanymore. The peer pressure almost drove me crazy, because I always want to bethe best no matter where I am. I beganto get negative about myself and feel helpless to accomplish anything. Seeingthis situation, my mom offered me some suggestions that life is full ofvariety, you can be a unique one, rather than be a perfect one. After thinkingover and over again, I gradually learnt to accept myself as who I am, and I didnot compare with others any longer. Thinking in way, I can focus on the things I am good at to improve myself to the better and also actively learn fromothers to make myself a complete and fulfill person.
4. Tell me something funny that happened recently.
Well one of the funnythings I recently read about most be the interview of Trump and his wife. Whenasked about how they felt about living in the White House after Trump beingelected as the American President, they said that “well, the life of presidentis not always that easy. After all, it is the smallest house we have ever livedand it is really awkward.” I don’t know if it is a real interview, but thewords are so ironic and funny. Especially when thinking about trump’s funnyhaircut and his serious attitude, I just cannot help laughing.
5. How will you involve with Olin Business School after graduation?
If I am the lucky one tobe admitted into Olin Business School and graduate successfully, I would alwaysremember I am a part of Olin and take an active part involve with it. First, Iwould join the alumni association and offer my alumni all the best resources Ihave, such as the internships, jobs and so on in order to express my gratitudeto the school that once cultivated me. And also If I can earn enough money, Iwould donate a sum of it to Olin to help with the improvement of facilities andthe study environment. Also, if I am capable enough, I would like to bring morethoughts to the school by build some laboratories and institutes in the school,because knowledge and new ideas is the key factor to make a school moreadvanced and respectful. In conclusion, I will make my best at Olin and then,after graduation I would also bring the best me out in making Olin a forevertop school.
6. Your favorite study environment.
When it comes to myfavorite environment, the first requirement must be the ample study resources.I had experienced some really hard time in my undergraduate study without alibrary because of the construction. We have a very limit access to the study materialsand it is really difficult for my project to go any further without referringto the resources I want. So I think a good study environment should provide uswith all kinds to materials to look up to. Second, I also attach greatsignificant to the people in my study environment. I want my peers to beenthusiastic and aspirant, which in turns can also make me more eager to learn.In conclusion, equipped with the passion and the resources to learn, I think anenvironment like that can best satisfy me.
