Speaker
Dr Dimitrios Tsomocos is Professor of Financial Economics at Saïd Business School and a Fellow in Management at St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford. He is also a Senior Research Associate at the Financial Markets Group at the L.S.E. Dimitrios’ main areas of expertise including banking & regulation, asset markets, financial instability, and financial architecture. His research has had a substantial impact on economic policy around the world. Dimitrios has worked with central banks in countries including England, Bulgaria, Colombia, Greece, Korea and Norway and advise them on issues of financial stability.
Professor Tsomocos will give a taster lecture on ‘Global Imbalances & Eurozone Debt Crisis’.
