ME: To study MBA.
VO: what university?
ME: Univ. of Maryland.
VO: Why this Univ?
ME: Because this school specialized in technology, information system and supply chain. My background is technical, and as a product manager, my daily work is dealing with supply chain. So this school is the most suitable to me.
VO: Do you have offer letter?
ME: yes(give it to vo, including scholarship offer)
VO: Do you have some info about this school?
ME: yes,(give it to vo, school brochure and webpage and rank info.), include the rank information.
VO: Why not study MBA in China?
ME: Because the best business education is in US. China also has some business schools, but I need an international environment to improve my presentation skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
VO: Who will pay for it?
ME: The school waived my tuition fee. I need to pay for the living cost.
VO: How much?
ME: about 15000 dollars.
VO: Do you have certificate?
ME: yes. (show it, about 200,000RMB)
VO: So this is your savings? How?
ME: yes. I have 4 years of work expirience.
VO: what do your parents do?
ME: They retired.
VO: what was their job? before retired?

ME: I wanna career change. From a technician to a management position. (at this time I saw the pink note is on my files，心中狂喜)

总结：大胡子哥哥全过程都没有笑过，让我很紧张，有的问题没有回答好，例如为什么要把全部的积蓄花在这上面，也许应该说说投资回报，顺便说说回国计划什么的，但是当时都没想起来。一问一答，我没有主动说什么，因为害怕提到我的硬伤。硬伤一：我申请了十几所学校，太多了，如果问起来我不敢说谎，为什么申请这么多，不知道怎么回答，只能说第一次申请，听说竞争很激烈就多申请了。硬伤二：我没有工资证明，应为我们公司是本土的私企，我的收入比较特殊，不便开证明，我只带了工资的存折。还好没有问到这些。
用到的材料：offer letter（inc.Fellowship），学校的介绍（没要排名信息，我的排名信息是夹在学校的介绍手册里的，就一起给他了），存款证明（04年和05年开始存的）
其他：约的是早上8:15的，不到8点就到了，永安里地铁的西北出口向北走一点就看到排队的人群了。因为我的158表上的工作单位和156上的不一致（其实两个单位是一个公司，但是我怕会影响，就昨晚改了158表，打算到了使馆的服务处打印出来。我问：158表打印，两页，多少钱？60！天哪，杀人嘛！我说我只是打印两页纸而已，我已经写好了！她说那20！我说怎么这么贵！我犹豫了一会儿。她说：打不打？打就20，不打别在这儿站着。真想去物价局告他们！（大街上最贵的不过一块一张）中国人自己管理的签证服务处，实在太让我失望了！
尽管大家都说现在F1的好签，但是我觉得一点也不水，没见过一个是在两三分钟内搞定的。所以一定要充分的准备，想好关键的问题的回答，诚实。排了一个半小时的队，9点45左右签完，还挺快的。其实我感觉vo都是很认真负责的，每一个问题都是非常合理的，必须的，只要你的回答合情合理，辅助以适当的证明，就能顺利通过。即使缺某些证明，只要理由合情合理，也不会有影响。
准备的材料（没用上）：简历、工资存折和定期存折、成绩单毕业证学位证、GT成绩、工作证明、合同、名片、户口簿复印件、家人照片、学校的申请材料
