已经拿到了几个美国学校的HR 专业的admission，UIUC, Cornell, Ohio States,遗憾的是都没有钱，可能因为我申请的是master吧，还是文科。比较起来Cornell是几个学校中排名最好的，所以我已经基本打算去。但这两天又拿到了Queen\'s的offer, 说只要接受offer就给5000，并且还会考虑其它奖学金。我本人比较犹豫的主要在于Cornell当然是很好的学校，但学费加生活费的确不少，而我本人是加拿大PR，到Queen\'s读书本身就便宜还有奖。但Queen\'s要回复要的很急，所以，请大家帮忙参谋一下。

Queen\'s OB area is well respected in NA and could open doors for you if PhD is your final destination.

非常感谢luingor 和 rongdongc的答复，能不能再解释一下Queen\'s的好处呢？我现在非常的困惑，身边的朋友也是非常不同的意见，赞成Cornell的都说加拿大学校的名气还是不如美国的学校。

忘了说Queen\'s是一个一年的program，说是一年，就是没有寒暑假的12个月，比较紧张，但也是Queen\'s的特色。Cornell 是HR No.1，我原来就是看中这一点。我现在还有UIUC, Ohio states, MSU的admission, 是不是这几个比较起来Cornell 还是更好一点呢？美国学校都是2年。

我不太想读博士，年纪大了，想出来工作。

With Cornell, nobody will choose Queen\'s. Think about the career perspective when you graduate. Queen\'s has no advantages in this field, only in some MBA programs. You can some today, while you may lose the valuable opportunities ever in life.

Congratulations

When you started to apply for the universities last year, I think, Cornell was your first choice and Queen\'s was your backup. Queen\'s is a good university in Canada. But I think Cornell means much much more to your career, it is the TOP school after all.

Since you are a PR of Canada, you may have chance to get the loans or some kind of finacial aid from Canada to support your study in US school. Also the admission from top school will help you to find some financial aid in US. It will be easy to pay off your debt when you get a job after graduation. Look at some info here: http://www.finaid.org/ . (notice: it\'s time-consuming to find a financial aid).

I saw some pictures of Cornell Uni. The campus is very beautiful. Probably it is the most beautiful university on the east coast of US.

why don\'t you check with their current students, espeically their Chinese students. It is always a good way for you to judge a program. For most of time, most of us are just outsiders. Some inside information may help a bit. Also, please keep in mind that a school\'s reputation alone cannot always tell you everything.

definitely go to Cornell if you have enough money. Queen\'s has a good reputation in Canada, but its b-school is actually only third-class in the U.S. And its repuatition in the U.S. is almost nothing. Cornell is a true first-class university. Cherish this chance!

Profitablity is first. Growth is second. So go to Queen\'s.

Sorry, I must point out that you misuse the concept. Although the cost of Cornell is higher than that of Queen\'s, this doesn\'t mean that the profit from Cornell is lower than that of Queen\'s. Also, it\'s very very hard for Chinese to find a HR job in Canada. I am sure there are more chances in the U.S.

好羡慕啊，恭喜哦！！！！！

Queen\'s 其实不错的，但是相比较康奈尔，就逊色很多了。我也在加拿大，曾经听一个老师说HR的工作对于女生来说还是很不错的，不过，语言是很关键的问题。如果，语言不过关，不管是加拿大还是美国，要找到好工作都不会简单，所以学校就很重要了哦。而且你也觉得中国人在加拿大找HR的工作很难，觉得美国的工作机会会多一些，那就更需要美国名牌学校的学历了。

顺便问一下，要是去读康奈尔，一共要多少学费啊？？

砸锅卖铁也是cornell!

queens是投入50,产出100.

cornell是投入200，产出1000，多个0。平均起薪就要比queen\'s高近一倍:

queens,around cad$ 60k, while cornell us$ 80k furhter more, 他给你的价值远高于平均起薪
