刚刚收到UNC MAC program的录取邮件。感觉很兴奋。
It is a pleasure to inform you that the Master of Accounting Program Admissions Committee has recommended that you receive an offer of admission for the 2014-2015 academic year. Congratulations on your academic achievement to date and your decision to pursue a graduate level accounting degree!”
一直很喜欢这个program，更佩服的是他家给decision的速度。我11.30号赶在12.1的那个deadline交得申请，第二天就给了面试，昨天早上刚刚skype面试完，今天就收到了录取。。。简直神速。。。
在这里放上一点面试经验吧。其实问题因人而异，一开场先问了为什么决定学习accounting，然后问了我四大的实习经历，还有为什么不直接回四大工作而是要读master of accounting。后面就是几个比较典型的问题比如：strengths and weakness, challenges you might encounter when you transition into accounting, short-term/long-term goals, 最后是Q&A。
对于面试，我之前做了几个mock interview，把之前论坛上大家总结的面试问题都好好准备了。这里真要感谢CD上面分享经验的大牛。之前跟Admission office的Laurie发邮件问，她就说intervew是最关键的。UNC是一个非常注重soft skill的program而不是academics。还有就是interview最后提的问题一定要insightful，最好能表现出你自己的优势和面试官问不到的问题。我准备了两个问题，面试官听完就说you really have great questions.
最后强调几个MAC program和所有这些会计类学校最注重的qualifications吧。我觉得分别是：leadership, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and problem solving ability.
很感激也感恩在准备复习Final的前夜能收到第一个offer，这不是我的保底校，也不是最想去的，但也是很心仪的。我还报了一些学校，也有几所没有报打算寒假提交申请的。请大家给我点选校建议吧！谢谢大家~！
