中午十一点半到的梅隆镇广场,当时人还不是很多，观察了一下今天商务和探亲旅游的签证很多，F1的比较少。十二点四十的样子到八层等待，安检进入后发现一开始只开了四个窗口，映入眼帘的是11号窗口的亚裔GG，很nice很easy,但是貌似都是签的商务签证。待偶交了156 157 ...等材料后大面积的VO开窗工作了。其间观察下各窗口，亚裔胖MM和一个秃顶中年男子比较tough,每个人都能磨蹭上十来分钟。而且从我进入开始他们叫的号就是9XX开头的，我领到的号也是9XX，暗想不会落入他们的手上吧。上周就有去CMU的飞友因为财产证明都是零六年之后的而悲剧的，我这十万多刀的费用还真是捏了把汗。
正当和一位签友聊得起兴时，亚裔GG的窗口突然跳出排在我前面的一个号，心中一阵暗喜，果然前面一个自费F1一分钟内水过，下面就是欧的签经啦。
Me: Good afternoon, sir.
Vo: Good afternoon. Put your left finger... right finger....OK,good
Me:(摆开摊头，把所有的document拿出来)
Vo: What are you doing now?
Me: (汗，暗想不是在visa??正无语中)
Vo: do you have any job at the present time?
Me: I resigned from XXX company in April and now intend to pursue a master degree of Computational Finance at CMU. And upon the graduation, I will come back to China and join a top-tier investment bank as ......
Vo: Why master degree and this program?
Me: Because it is more practical and the program at CMU is among top-ranked master program of financial engineering in USA. Its curriculum is steeped in quantitative methods. I'm especially fond of it focus on risk management and derivatives valuation which is newly developed and very promising in China...
Vo:(打电脑看屏幕) Oh your visa for XXX Phd program was approved last year,why didnot you attend that program?
Me:(这个欧早有准备) First, I have studied several financial and economic courses and participated in student investment interest club at the university which ignited and revealed my potential and flair within financial industry. And my professional internship exposure at XXX bank at my senior university year convinced me that a job in financial market will satisfy my career expectation in the near future. Furthermore, China's economy is soaring like never before and its financial market is growing rapidly, all of these call for talented professionals who possess international background and are familiar with all kinds of new financial concepts and products. So the investment within this program and this industry is really rewarding. Also my father possesses the ownership of corporate asset which is more than XXX million RMB, he also needs my advise to manage and promote company business when I come back to China...
Vo: How many universities did you apply and how many admitted you?
Me: Five, including Princeton, Duke, Michigan, Brandeis and CMU. Apart from Princeton, all of other universities admitted me. Would you like to see the admission and support letters from these universities?
Vo: No...(写写划划，扔出绿条子料,没有看欧的存款证明，工资收入证明...) Welcome to America.
Me: 狂喜中， thanks very much. Have a nice day.
整个过程100秒之内，由于是从工程类专业转金融，又是自费十万多刀，一开始准备一场硬仗的，不过这个亚裔GG真得很水，期望大家都能水水的通过签证。
