首先要感谢胡搅蛮缠妹妹.....6月5号晚拉她出来做mock～～～真是获益匪浅～～～～
今天9点半左右到，签10点那场......学生模样的人还蛮多....虽然我也是去读书的....被人以为是签工作的....心里还有点得意....professional啊.....
今天貌似只有一号杀手和三号小胡子在......说一号是杀手感觉还真有点冤枉他了....从他那个窗口过的人一波又一波....他不过就是办事麻利一些.....感觉他动一动....周围都有冲击波似的.....
小胡子今天好像扮演黑脸的角色......有个妹妹被他问了起码20分钟....最后还是盖章了......可是我还是希望被他签到...因为胡妹妹说他喜欢细节....而我准备了好多好多....巴不得他多问我点....要是遇到1号....如果没水果吃...肯定就只有吃闷雷了....
我的名字好像比较难念....叫到我的时候....一个男人飕的一下钻了出来....小胡子连连摇头....也是嘛...本人虽不算什么美女...但也不是东方不败啊......感觉有点稀里糊涂的就走到窗口.....
小胡子似乎还有点害羞....我突然有种预感.......我一定能和他愉快沟通....
按完指印以后....开始问问题拉：
VO: you will go to the US, so where?
Me: ***University for my master's program in organizational leadership and management...
VO: OK, how did you know it?
Me: A forum, and I was invited. In this forum, I had a face to face interview with professor Anthony and associate prof. Edward from this university (当我说完这个的时候....他开始很有兴趣的盯着我看）....and they were very satisfied with my academic background and my future career plan....(他打断我说道: yeah, I can see that you are pretty smart...笑....一种受宠若惊的感觉）and they introduced several top students to me, and by talking to them I got further imformation about this program．．．．(被打断....可能感觉我有点bit around the bush了）
VO: OK， then what's the curriculum....
Me: 本来想给他看study plan的....但被他制止....于是开始报课程名.....blablabla一连说了5，6个专业课以后...他满意了....
VO: when did you finish your undergraduate study?
Me: On July, 2005 from shanghai univ. of finance and economics...
Vo: major?
Me: Finance
Vo: so why you change your major?
Me: because I have decided my future career path.
VO: so what will you do after graduation?
Me: I have researched that many prestious consulting firms have member firms in China...(本来想把公司具体的...但是怕他没兴趣听,...而且网上也说不是说几个公司的名字就有用....哪知道他对这个还感兴趣...马上问: like what firms?) Mickensey, Boston Group, Monitor Group, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Delloitte Consulting, Accenture....(说了这么多我想他也应该满意了....果然...他打断说go on....然后开始在电脑上打字....当时还吓的我以为说了这些公司大多都是美国的....他会不会.....结果证明....可能因为我先头说了有member firms in CHINA吧....) I believe working as a consultant for one of these firms will allow me to use an international perspective and most importantly, it will expose me to a large number of companies and indurstries in CHina, and help me build strong business relationships in CHina. And these are crucial to the accomplishment of my ultimate career goal. To become a leadership coach and start my own leadership coaching company in China....
VO: leadership coach??? So coach what?
Me: Well, I will help managers in chinese companies develop their leadership skills and help chinese companies structure their strategic human resource management....and most importantly...
VO: I got you....well you know...it's quite different in the management system between China and US....(他似乎还说了什么中国的公司在广西宁夏什么的....大概可能就是想表示我们的管理系统比较落后...我在美国学的那些东西拿回来有用吗？）
Me: 我顺藤摸瓜....先说中国现在存在的一些问题....然后说美国在这方面做的很好...
you know, there is a phenomenone in China that most Chinese entrepreneural companies have very short durations, not more than 8 years in average....(这里被他打断....好像是对那个数字比较惊奇...我又强调了一下）and some high-tech companies have even shorter durations, less than three years. You know, the destiny of a company is decided by its culture and its core values, no matter how strong the policy protection or the market entry barrier is. And the culture and core values are essentially decided by leaders. Many world famous organiations and companies were born in the US, and US has become the strongest economic country in the world within less than three hundred years. There must be something very important for me to study, and I believe it's organizational leadership and management....
VO: so you think you can change this by yourself?
Me: 表现的有点aggressive...Yes! And I think through team work．．．．
VO: 他大概是信服了...转而开始问资金....就看了存款证明和房产证....翻了翻...大概他已经想让我过了....而我还在那里不知道blabla说什么的时候....他开始在I20上签字.....并且开始撕白条....说实话....我没有特别惊喜的感觉...他最后还说....你可真爱说话啊....我只能笑笑: am I bothering you? 他说: 不不不....你以后要当leadership coach....本来就应该这个样子.....全程都是用的英文....我突然觉得自己英文真的长进不少....他说的我好像当时都没翻成中文就明白什么意思了....开心....
还有一点比较蹊跷的是，他看我妈妈的房产证...我说this apartment belongs to my mother....他居然问我....我父母是不是离婚了....当及晕倒........
今天的签证....说不紧张是假的....整个过程.....我觉得还是不水.....问了很多细节的问题....多亏胡妹妹的提醒....
还有一点小小的迷信....昨天和胡妹妹mock的时候....DS156被水弄湿了一点点....今天早上坐在那里等的时候....房顶上不知道是空调还是排气口滴水了....掉到我头发上....当时就在想...这些是不是都是预示我会水过啊....HOHO
不过怎么样....那句话是对的...只要好好准备....充分准备....希望大大的.....
最后......还是希望所有的签友....特别是成都的签友.....顺利拿到签证....
最后的最后.....感谢爸爸妈妈.....爷爷奶奶.....BF....同学....朋友.....排名不分先后....
爷爷要单独提出来.....爷爷已经92岁高龄....孙女学成后一定会回来的....而爷爷也一定会健康的等着孙女学成归国的.........
