it's really a tough day for me. My visa application today was rejected by No.1 VO. He seems to be a nice person but still sent rejection. By the way, before me there were 2 F-1 students at No. 1 and they were rejected by this VO too. Other VOs didn't give rejection untill I leave. There is no F-1 at No.2 gate. There is one boy for undergraduate passed at No.3 gate.
Quesions:
VO: You go there for undergraduate study?
Me: No, for accounting master's
VO: Which University?
Me: XXX
VO: You've been to US before?
Me: Yes.
VO: For what?
Me: Undergraduate Study.
VO: How long is your program?
Me: Nine Months.
VO: Your master's program is MBA? (Because my I-20 says majoring in Master of Business Administration and Management, my actually major is Master of Accounting)
Me: It's master of Accoutning.
VO: But it says MBA.
Me: Well, you may look at the AD letter. Master of Accounting posted there. I also have an email from the person who issued the I-20, he said the visa document is right. Would you like to have a look at it?
VO: Give me your housing certificate? (Weird though, don't wanna look at my certificate of deposit)
VO: where do you parents work?
Me: My father....My mother... the total annual income of my parents is XXX.
VO: Wow.
Me: Could you like to see the certificate of deposit?
VO: No, I don't need that.
(Major part): We spent lots of time arguing back and forth over the intention of working in US. He asked about my plan (There is no problem with my plan, I give very sinere/reasonable answers with emphasizing that I will come back here)
VO: Are you a student?
Me: Yes, I am. I will graduate this July.
VO: I am afraid you will look for a job there once you graduate there. (this reason can apply to every student visa)
Me: Well, sir...bla/bla/bla. I sorta sadly said it was too late to find a good job here. (he agreed) How much I need this visa to realize my career goals...
VO: You've got a degree from US. You can find a good job here in China.
Me: Could you give some reasons?
VO: I prefer students with some work experience. (good point, what I can say? I felt he decided not to give me visa at the first sight and at the beginning of my visa application)
Me: All right, Thank you all the same. Have a great day.
VO: You bet.
