个人情况介绍下先：03年本科毕业申请两次被拒，然后工作至今，UIUC全自费。
昨天下午人不是很多，很快排到我。11号窗口的一个MM，我前面一个JJ也是自费，而且有工作经验，VO上来就问工作，然后资金，前面的JJ好象很紧张，最后被拒，吓出我一身汗....
然后到我。一共带了4个大夹子，一个装各种表资金证明什么的，一个是公司做presentation的文件夹装我个人的收入证明之类；一个是爸妈公司的文件夹装他们的财力证明；还有一个UIUC的资料夹装admission和study plan之类。事实证明这样很方便拿资料:)
Me: Good afternoon, madam (big smile). This is my business card.
VO: OK, how r u today?
Me: I'm good.
VO: So, u r currently working?
Me: Yes, I've been working as XXX for almost 3 years and my major responsibilites are XXX
VO: (这之前一直看电脑，突然转向我) You have applied before?
Me: (still smile) Yes, in 2003.
VO: Why didn't get the visa?
Me: I'm not sure about the reason as I'm a real student with clear picture of my future and I have enough money to support the study.
VO: You applied PR in 2003 then you have been working in executive search, now you want to study HR? I don't see any logical connection....
Me: (直接打断) OK. Let me explain. Executive search is part of HR, and I need to expand myself in more aspects in the field and develop myself from current operational level to strategic level. (没来得及解释为什么不学PR而转了HR，毕竟我在HR行业工作了快3年，相信她不该继续纠缠)
VO: OK. What is ur current salary?
Me: My base salary is XXX with performance incentive of XXX per month. And my total annual income is about XXX. Here is the certificate and tax bill.
VO: (只接过certificate,于是我把tax bill贴在窗口给她看，然后开始看I-20) How will u support ur study?
Me: Ma parent and myself. My parents operates their own company and their total annual income is about XXX. Would you like to see the bank certificate?
VO: (接过去看了半天) I don't care how much they have (具体怎么说的忘了，反正就是这意思) Show me their working status (正纳闷呢) Do you have their income certificate?
Me: Yes, Here you are. (VO低头看材料) This is the introductory brochure of their company (直接把宣传材料贴窗口上) And you can see from the bank certificate, most of the money has been saved since 2004 and even earlier. So money is absolutely not a problem for my family!
接下来,恐怖的来了....
VO: (仔仔细细把所有东西看完之后，一齐从窗口退给我,包括I-20、DS表，只留下护照，放在手里转来转去，然后似笑非笑的看着我，PS: 这表情是我后来才琢磨出来的，当时只觉得恐怖) I don't believe you will come back.
Me: (绝望ing，但看她没有盖章，就死盯着她问) WHY?
Vo: You seem to have a good job now, and your family will spend big amount of money. I don't think you will come back. (然后就直勾勾盯着我看)
Me: (用更直勾勾的眼神盯着她) First, if I want to be promoted in near future, the professional education is very important for me. blabla说了一堆理由，其实就是我为什么要去念书。 And my family have enough money，把要花的学费和家里一年可以赚的钱又跟她强调了一下；接着说我的回国计划，我回来要做什么，specialized in XXX...(本来有两个方向，但怕节外生枝，就着重一个狂说)
VO: (打断) how much will you earn when you come back?
Me: (接着死盯着她) according to my experience as headhunter, the starting salary of my proposed position will be XXX
Vo: That's not even close to your expense
Me: (迷茫...心里盘算这JJ是不是算错了) The expense is XXX, I could easily earn back with the salary of XXX (把两个数字又给她说了一遍)
VO: Sorry, may I see ur I-20 again? I though I returned it to you.
Me: Here it is.(我也没词了，就看着她)
VO: OK, I can give you the visa today.
Me: ...Thanks! Have a nice day!
总结：感觉这个VO比较喜欢吓人，然后看你的反应，其实她在用否定的方式提问。重点在于要有气势，盯着她的眼睛流利的告诉她你的答案。让她没办法反驳，对自己的情况包括家庭的情况要清楚，尤其是一些数字。mock的时候要列出重点，被challenge的时候把重点直接抛出来。
