6月9日（北京） MA-Economics自费，1000 PASS

背景：本科毕业，四大工作经验一年，自费，SUNY经济学硕士

今天穿的很正式，Paul Smith的衬衣，Mont Blank的袖扣，西裤，瞠亮的Golden lion皮鞋。无论过不过，要维护好firm的professional形象，呵呵~

今天面我的签证官是13号窗口的金发美女，前面一队人签额很慢，感觉她很困…

我们这队最前面是一家三口，不知道去干吗…然后5个学生，我是最后一个…。一家三口的的大概谈了8分钟，然后过了，学生甲好像是返签，签证官只问了一句，就飞出个白条。学生乙是个工作了好几年的北大医学院老师，盘问了许久，至少6分钟，形势眼看很不妙，VO不停的皱眉头，后来签证官问道，“r u married?” 好玩的就开始了：

VO: r u married?
乙: No. But I have a lovely girlfriend. Here is the our pix.
VO边看边微笑

乙: I asked about marriage, she didn’t say anything, but I could see she was very happy..
VO开始哈哈哈的笑

乙: U know, my work is really busy and I don’t get much time to be together … and we earn little money… so…
VO乐的不停的笑

然后又问了几个问题，他就过了，相信他回去肯定要认真感谢他的GF，呵呵～

学生丙大概问了3分钟，期间看了些OFFER LETTER和银行证明就过了…

然后轮到我了…

我大步跨上去，把厚厚的一个大风琴夹往台子上一方（我准备的材料的厚度至少是我见到的人里边TOP 5的。。。）

Me: Good morning, Madam! How r u doing today?
Vo: Fine…（声音懒洋洋的，还黑眼圈，估计是昨晚失眠了。。。可怜的MM。。。）So what r u going to study?
Me: I’m going to study for my Master of Economics in SUNY-xxx.

VO: Why did u choose this Univ.?（也许是因为我是这队里口语最流利的，她一改埋头看表的习惯，开始坐正了，拿只笔和我开说）
Me: Well, firstly, SUNY-xxx’s graduate program of Economics is among the top xx in US. And it’s famous for its academic achievements of Labor Economics, Public Economics, which is exactly what I’m interested in.

VO:（点头）u r working now?
Me: Yeah, I’m working as an associate of xxx

VO: Wow, it’s a pretty good job, huh? （开始皱了皱眉头，然后不解的看着我，双手抱着，等着我的解释。。。此时感觉她起了拒我的念头 。。。）
Me: Yeah, it’s a good job, but it’s not my final career goal. I want to become one of the best consultants here in China in the future, I worked for Advisory Dept. of xxx for nearly 2 months and I found that I like consulting much better than xxx. A master degree of Economics from SUNY xxx would be my great advantage when I trying to enter one of the best consulting companies here in Beijing 2 years later.

VO:（点头） who will funds ur study?
Me: My parents…（正要说他们工作情况，被VO打断）

VO: what do they do for a living?
Me: My father is the xxx of xxx University and my mother is in charge of the affiliated Bilingual Kindergarten of xxx preliminary school.

VO:（笑）can ur parents speak English?
Me: Unfortunately no…

VO:（边撕条边笑着看我问） So how could ur mother be in charge of the Bilingual Kindergarten if she couldn’t speak English?
Me: hehe, she is just in charge of the administration affairs…（话音未落，条已经扔出来了…）

VO:（笑）Thank u and bye~
Me: Thank u very much! Have a nice day!

一些体会：

1. 大厅并不安静，但是签证官的每句话都能听清，说的很慢（由于长期在公司听HK English，突然听个美国人讲话，简直就是天籁之音…）
2. 口语好肯定是有帮助的，之前金发MM一直都趴着看资料，头也不抬的皱眉问问题。我上去说了2句后，她就不看DS表和I20了，开始坐直了和我说，表情轻松了很多。（VO每天要用蹩脚的普通话和更为蹩脚的全国各地普通话使用者对话，心情肯定无比郁闷，如果你上去用很流利的英文和她说话，她心情会好些）
3. 由于交流很顺畅，她很快的问，我很快的答，中间没有卡的时候，所以拿了条之后一看表，大概30秒左右…
4. 自信很重要，无论是服装，头发，微笑，还是准备的大包资料，要用自信的眼神告诉VO，我是well prepared才来的，你从我这里别想找出问题。

这个VO前面除了返签的，都看了不少资料，一个不漏。我带的一大包资料都没有打开，什么都没看，最怕的资金问题也没有问到。。。所以我觉得流利的英文和轻松自信的表情是最重要的
