自己觉得没有什么硬伤，被拒的有些意外，现在准备2k，大家给我提点建议吧：）

My background: BA from beida, have worked 2 years in a large public-listed corporation as an im&ex trader, will go to xxx univ (ranking about 30) to study MAster of Finance with scholarship.
Encountered the toughest vo, a famous F1 killer.
me: nice to meet you!
vnice to meet you.Before the interview, I want to ask you a few questions.
me:ok.
他接着就问了些非常规问题，搞的我很不适应。
vare you married?
me:no.
vdo you have a car or house?
me:my parents have.....(interrupted)
v so you don't have.
Me;yes.
Vo; have you been abroad?
me:Never. (after said so feel regret, better say "not yet")
V do you have a job?
Me: yes, I am working for xxx company as a tader.
Vo; what’s your salary?
Me: my annual income is about ****rmb
V when did you begin to work in this company?
Me: ******
V when did you graduate?
Me:******
V why do you come to this company?
Me: it is near to my hometown…
Vo(interrupt): where is your hometown?
Me:**** . and also because the president of the company is my parents’ close
friend.
V so you got your job from network, （他的语气似乎不赞成，开始在ds表上画了一个
圈，写了几句话）and you did not pass any qualification exam?
Me: no, I passed the interview.
V what will you do in us?
Me: to study the *** program at *** university.
V why will you study this program?
Me: because I want to seek a position in a international investment bank or consulting firm after graduation. (interrupted)
V like what companies?
Me: Morgan Stanley, BCG, I have a friend who graduated from the same program of *** university, and she now works in ***( a famous investment bank) . She tells me about this program and said it’s very good. She also promises to help me find a position in the company when I come back.
Vo( nodded): so why don’t you just change your job now?
Me: since my undergraduate major was not a business major, I do not have the finance knowledge and the degree needed to work in an investment bank. I am not eligible to work in this industry now. 说了句废话，显得自己不自信

这里我犯了一个错误，就是没有提我的奖学金。我想当然认为他能看到。

V why do you choose to study this program after working for 2 years?
Me: (我没想到他会问这个问题，因为我觉得他前边已经问了我为什么要读这个专业，而
我也说了我的打算。我想他可能是要考察我对现有工作的看法，本想说对现在的工作不满
意，无论是薪水还是工作内容，但是怕这样说不好，于是只好勉强说to work in an investment bank is always my dream. And now I think it is the time for me to trysomething new.
V what will you do if you cannot find a position in an investment bank?
Me: I will come back to my current company……..（被打断）（这个问题的回答可能就是我最大的失误，后来说给朋友听，朋友说这个其实是个很大的逻辑错误，就是我花这么多钱是不可能回以前公司的.而且一个公司的确不太可能为一个只工作两年的人保留职位。其实这个隐患我在其他人的建议里也看过，但我的想法是说我因为和公司领导关系好，出国之后回来会有更大的发展空间和很好的提升机会，所以才说要回公司，但就是从这个回答vo开始就它开始了一系列的challenge，搞的我很被动，最后被拒）
V but you will resign since you are going to us.
Me: I have talked about my study plan with my boss, and he supported my decision and promised to keep my position. Here is the support letter; do you wantto have a look?
V no. how can you make sure that the position will be kept for you for 2 years?
Me: as I have said that the boss is my parents’ close friend. He will welcome me when I come back.
V （表示不认同）what if any one else who holds the American degree enters your company and takes your position, what will you do?
Me: 没有想到他会问这个，犹豫了，过了几秒才说since my company is a large public listed corporation and its business scope includes import and export, financial investment, and medicine chains. There are many positions open. Maybe I can find a position in a financial investment sector. Also, very few people who hold the overseas degree now work in our company and no one with an American degree yet. I’m sure I can do good job after I come back.
V I’m sorry I cannot issue you the visa. I think you should go on work in your current company. You are talented people, blabla 我知道他铁了心要拒我，根本就听不下去，也不记得他说什么，但反正不是是拘我的理由
Me: can you give me a reason why I was rejected?
V please see the letter, it is very clear.
ME: ok,bye.
把签经写出来又发现自己的话很多都说的不中要害，有些罗嗦，而且自信不够。
回答内容的失败之处
一、 在他问 我如果去不了投行该怎么办时，就不应该退步，不应该说会以前公司，而是说以自己的知识和经历可以去很多其他金融机构或者去公司做finance management，不给他机会来challenge，同时显的更自信
二、 不应该过分强调network的作用，这个给他似乎留下了很差的印象。

我的拒签签经发出之后，收到大家这么多热心的帮助和祝福，让我非常的受鼓舞，再次感谢你们！
其实拒签的绝大因素还是自己，不是还有很多人遇到杀手也照样过嘛。现在的形势总体来说很好，容易让人放松警惕，忽视对签证的准备，所以最近才会有很多人悲剧。其实vo拒人不一定是因为你有硬伤，很多没有硬伤的，甚至全奖的照样被拒，关键是我们在签证的时候如何展示自己的优秀，尤其是遇到比较tough的vo时。一定要让vo认同的你的观点，哪怕就是一个。他如果不认可你，即使你完全符合他们的签证规则也没有用。
好的准备一定会有签证。签证时一定要尽量避免犯错误。一签的时候我就犯了很多错误，现在想来自己都觉得就该拿不到签证。自己给了vo太多理由来拒我。关键是对签证准备的不够，整个过程没有想清楚，很多问题根本没有去准备，结果vo一问就问出问题来了。
vo问我有没有房子时，其实我带了3个房产证其中一套是我的名字，但是我忘记说了：（结果他就当成我没有。
他问who will pay for your study时，我又没提奖学金。
我在说network时根本就没有想到会给vo负面的印象，实际情况是我在去这个公司之前已经有了几个job offer,因为觉得它比其他几个好我才去的，而且我去那里不是靠关系而是因为我qualified，两门外语，有是不错学校毕业的，即使没有那层关系我也可以去的。vo当时也给了我机会，他问了So you don't have the qulifications.我就应该把实际情况解释给他听，结果因为觉得他误解了，一着急，就随口来了句，i passed the interview。现在自己都觉得回答荒谬。
我对回国计划没有做具体的研究，说起来比较空，vo一问就表现的不坚定了。而且更愚蠢的是回到现在公司这个计划，太倚重network，无形中让人觉得自己没有能力。而且没有想到说要去其他的行业和公司。的确太失败了。
大家在说回国计划时最好不要说回到原来的公司，这是我看过很多拒签帖子之后的一个感受。
拒签给了我一个重新思考自己的机会。一个人只有真正了解自己，才能充满自信，自然也就能从领事馆拿走想要的visa。祝cd的朋友最终都能顺利拿到自己签证，实现自己的理想！
