Good afternoon.
VO:Good afternoon, Ms xxxx, Good afternoon. Mr xxxx.
LP/ME:Good afternoon.
VO:You are applying for F1 visa ...... is this your husband?
LP:Yes.
VO:Where do you work? How long have you been working there?
LP: My current company is XXX. It’s a leading PR agency specialized in xxxxxx. I’ve worked here for 1.5 years. (突然想起,补充一句) Before this I worked for YYY for 4.5 years.
VO:(nodding & smiling) How much do you earn every month?
LP: xxxxx RMB, net income
VO:Why you choose Chicago?
LP: Because of its good marketing program and flexible curriculum, I can design my own studying plan.
VO:OK…(looking at I-20) It is an expensive program, xx,xxx dollars a year, so you must have proof of your financial.....
LP: Yes, here are our bank statements. (LP 递上银行证明清单,VO 翻看了前面几张) The first year will be covered by the savings of myself and my husband, and the second year will be sponsored by our parents. These are their sponsor letters.
VO:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx....?
VO:Mr xxx, how long have you stay in your current company?
ME:Sir, can you speak Chinese? (Xixi,
VO:Sorry,
ME:两年。
ME:xx,xxx
ME & LP:(两人都摇头)No.(wwwzzz: 赫赫,感觉好象买房子是什么不好的事情一样)
。。)you got married one year ago?
LP:yes, we brought some photos here. Would you like to see them?
VO:No,(smiling) When did you meet each other?
LP: We met more than two years ago in Beijing, when he was there working on a start-up with some friends. It was an outing, there were friends and friends’ friends….
VO:OK.(指着I-20)This table is very important, please bring it with you when you enter US. Don’t put it in your luggage. (指着我们的银行证明) You may also need to show these as financial proof…(wwwzzz:奇怪,银行证明留着,那我们不换汇了么?)I hope you will like the US!
LP: No. (wwwzzz: 我还以为他问自己有没有去过米国,于是就实说了,还想,护照和DS表上都有啊)
LP: No, I haven’t been to US. (wwwzzz:
VO:(笑了)I mean, I hope you will like it.
LP:(明白过来)Yes, I hope so, too.
VO:Please go to window No.11 to get your passports. This is a book for you to study in US.
LP & ME: Thanks, bye.
VO:Bye.
