信心贴G低分 In@EMLyon EMM(European Master in Management) [2012-01-28] + 面经

在CD潜水很久，看着别人申请拿offer，今天轮到自己，到现在，还是没有什么真实感。

BG: 国内211大学，德语专业，GPA不足3，GMAT630 Toeic925
2年顶尖教育培训集团工作经验（part-time），start-up经验

EMLyon EMM面经

地点：EMLyon上海校区
时间：2012年1月18日下午2点
Interviewer: Prof Michelle Phan + 中国女负责人

1. introduce yourself
   我开始说自己，没有什么准备，信口说来，没说几句就被打断了
2. why consulting
   这个很纠结，我说consulting很challenge, 他们说firm也很challenge；我说consulting可以和不同的人交流学习，他们说specialized firm也需要和不同的客户合作
3. which specialization?
   我说organization, change ,strategy，因为consulting firm要这个
4. 谈到了venture capital, Prof. Phan问我什么对VC来说最重要？
   我答了很多：vision, assessment, evaluation，教授都说不对，最终告诉我是take the risk，我赶紧说，9 out of 10 ventures died. 教授还举了个美国公司例子，非常nice
5. 谈到了working experience, leadership experience
6. 女面试官 让我谈谈intercultural conflict
7. 最后让我问几个问题
   1) what's the difference between chinese Guanxi and networking?
   2) what is the situation of the language lab at EMLyon European Campus, learn french alone or learn with the professional teachers
   3) teaching method and staff organization

回家之后问了其他人，都是很和谐的30min，我这个challenge的50min, 还让我胆颤了一番
我是比较看重个人成长，G分数很低自己心知肚明，Prof Phan也笑着说，“你这个G在中国学生里面确实不高”最终能够录取，我想还是体现了法国高商注重实践的特点吧。
