NCSU MSA 面经 [2020.01.15]

这次斗胆选了最早的slot，当然就已经做好了被题目坑的准备。。。果不其然这次的题目真的跟之前的面经天差地别...

不过既然都面了还是要贡献下CD，下面就是新鲜出炉的面经～

BG：港本前三，两段水实习，三维 3.7/108/330。

Timeline:

• 11/11 submit
• 12/11 interview invitation
• 1/15 面试

时间：15号北京时间23:00 到23:30。

面试平台：NCSU 会给你发邮件下载一个软件，在那上边面试。

人数：是conference call 形式，共4位staff。其中有director（万年不变）Kathy，有assistant recruitment officer，有一个professor（超Nice），和一个technical 那边的director Dr.Chang（亚裔）。

问题：与前几年非常不同，我尽量回忆一下内容。顺序肯定是乱的，还请大家见谅。

1. Introduce yourself. Why analytics？
2. Your experience in writing essays? (real 奇怪的问题）Kathy hint 我可以说写SoP 的心得体会。
3. Presentation experience? What things do you take care of when you are presenting to the audiences.
4. Leadership style that you admire.
5. Teamwork experience. What is your role? What do others say about you? (praise/room for improvement)
6. Internship 追问了几个与经历相关的问题，我觉得回因人而异，准备的时候详细的想一下就好。
7. The biggest worry in your mind before you will come to Raleigh? What is you looking forward to about the program?
8. Tech questions: How to compare two models.
9. 后面也问到了project experience，但是问的很粗略，就问了用了什么软件（包括提了下什么package）。感觉她会比较在意python/R basics 你有没有学。（问了我loop，conditional这些基本功有没有)
10. 问到了一些概念，比如 MSE, R-squared, adj. R-squared.

愿大家offer多多，去到自己想去的学校！（楼主已经跪了555）
