面试出故障咋整?! - JHU Carey Admission Office

最近在CD上看到不少同学在讨论JHU面试时遇到的问题:“网络连接不上”,“查看录完的视频,发现卡得不得了”,“提交视频后,没有收到Confirmation”……

在此Admission Office一一作答,希望解除同学们的担忧

“自己回放录像,发现很卡”
The connection is almost always bad for students to re-watch their completed video. Students who feel they have successfully recorded their videos and then re-watch it and it is choppy or hard to hear or cuts out—that is almost never what we see on our end. Our connection typically shows the video just fine.

“遇到技术故障,导致录像质量很烂,担心考官因此reject”
If we go to watch the video and there is a technical issue that does not allow us to get a good sense of the candidate, we will reach out directly after we have attempted to watch the video. We would never deny someone based totally on a technical issue with a video. We would either extend them an opportunity to retake the video at a later time or perhaps do a skype interview with one of us.

“提交视频后,没收到Confirmation”
There is no email that confirms that you have taken the interview. However, if we have NOT received your completed video, we will be in touch with reminders. So no news is good news.

“Technical Support”
Interview Stream *does* offer a technical support service, but at this close to the deadline, the students likely won’t hear from them before the interview is to be completed.

We’ll be in touch with you if we need more information. You will not likely to hear from us again for several weeks. Now that the videos are completed, we will need weeks to begin the review. No one will receive an admissions decision until January. So at this point there’s nothing to do but wait patiently for us to do the review.
