I was just interviewed by an associate director of admission this morning. I would like to share my experience with my fellow MACC applicants. I know how much they would want information like this.
It lasted 26 minutes. It's informal and the atmosphere is good. The questions include:
1. Why would you want to change major? (I am in a PhD program but I began too disappointed and want to change to accounting.)
2. Have you actually worked for Big Four before? (I got offers before I came to the States)
3. What is your interest? corporate accounting or public accounting?
4. Where do you want to work after graduation? US or China?
5. What is your expectation about our program?
6. What is the most difficult thing up to now?
7. Do you have some questions to ask me?
I don't feel very well. I just found my English was so poor, with tons of gramma mistate. And there is no logic in my answers.
But anyway, hope my experience would help you.
