平时有什么娱乐.我准备了很多关于TEAMWORK, LEADERSHIP 等方面的例子, 结果全部没用上. 他问了我当地的时间, 得知已过了十一点后说太晚了, 你还是早点休息吧, 真的挺感动的.
开始接到INVITATION时, 真想象BRAVEMBA所说的REFUSE 算了, 反正手上也有了几个OFFER(排名没有KELLEY好), 觉得准备面试好累, 特别是等待面试前的几个钟头, 真是一种煎熬. 不过, 还是挺过来了. 作为MBA的申请者, 这点勇气还是应该有的吧.

Kelley好象在DEADLINE以后的INTERVIEW就是BY INVITATION了，自己不能BOOK。所以LEECIAO，你一定是不需要面试，ADCOM已经在打OFFER信了，他们效率低，打字慢。

Just finished the interview. By Lawrence Murray. I have to say this is the most difficult of my past interviews. He spoke very quickly.
Q:
1. Why MBA.
2. What will your supervisor describe you if asked about impression to you?
3. Also, what is the weakness of you would your supervisor say?
4. What are the challenges you think when working with teams?
5. Do you have the experience that you took a project which you don\'t like? How do you face it?
6. How about your leadership experience?
7. What will your colleagues describe you as a leader?
8. When you are facing projects with same priority, what will you do? (I have no preparation for this one, and I think this is my worst one of all the questions)
9. What\'s your fun?
10. What\'s your plan during the first five years after graduation from Kelley? (This question was asked with a strange expression. I even didn\'t understand it at all at the begining)
11. Questions to him.
You should pay attention that many questions asked by Lawrence are changed by different expression. Listen to his questions concentratedly. Pay more attention to the team work and leadership. Maybe the questions will be selected according to the backgrounds of applicants. The aspects of you you emphasized in your essays or resume would stand more chances to be asked. Good luck to you all.

其实，那些问题倒不是十分针对我的，但他应该是看过我的材料了。明显感觉到他纠缠在TEAM WORK和LEADERSHIP 不放，而且问题的问法不是特别常见（也许我自己感觉吧）。还是放松些吧，听的时候仔细点，我觉得如果听得不是很清楚就SORRY，否则回答的不是人家问的比一个I AM SORRY要糟糕的多。另外，在自己熟悉的问题语速不要太快，会把节奏带快，遇到不熟悉的问题时反差太大。好的准备是必要的。GOOD LUCK。

不好意思，让你紧张。没关系，PHONE面食要好多了，你可以调整情绪，而且可以看到自己的准备材料。语速要均匀，可以留有时间找你自己的材料。

大概30分钟，我说的时间比较长。
2. 这个人还NICE吗?
人还是NICE的，只是边问问题边往电脑里输什么，似乎直接记录了。我觉得对女孩会更NICE吧。
3. LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE 那个问题是让你举几个例子还是类似JOB DESCRIPTION的概括的说?
他只是这样问，我是举了2个例子。建议你举例子，这样你会比较有信心，而且容易表达。最后总结一下你对LEADERSHIP的观点。

我跟BRAVE MBA遇见的差不多。应该不是针对个人的。是个比较难的面试的。最重要是准备好这些TOPICS。然后语速千万不要太快，否则会被问太多东东。偶比BRAVE MBA碰到的还要多。偶都快晕了。
恩，另外，BRAVE MBA 说的很对，你一定会碰到不熟悉的话题，所以不要暴露出太大的差异，SO，AGAIN，不要太快。

真的? 你面世了多长时间? 我大概30分钟, 可能自己说的太多了, 只有8,9个问题. 加上自己问他的三个问题. (其中一个他说他也不清楚）

个人觉得给国际学生的面试还主要是在考察英语能力.只要问题回答的别太跑题,应该没有什么大的问题的.
你居然能不断地说30分钟,真令人敬佩啊!我回答问题一般很少能超过3分钟.没有那么多说的啊!而且口语确实不好.快要面试了,真的是很紧张.

Frankly speaking, I think that some questions are difficult even when answered with Chinese.

I have only 2 interview invitations so far, kelley is one, and another will be conducted on Mar 28th.
Do you think I should prepare all questions I can imagine by writing on a paper as somebody suggested to do? I did it when I prepare Kelley ( i never did such preparation before even for very tough presentations), however, I feel nervouse after I wrote down everything, and when I answer the question, I can\'t think about anything else besides the answer I wrote. That\'s why when I met the question I haven\'t prepared, I turned out to be a nut.
To you experience, what extend the preparation should be?

I think it depends on your English skills and questions you are asked. Basically, to write down all the words is not better than to repeat it with oral English before the interview. My method is to list 1,2,3,.... for each question and answer according to the situations.
Phone interview is indeed more difficult than face to face to some degree because you have no opportunity to communicate with interviewers by other ways, just with your voice.
Anyway, a good preparation is a good idea. Don\'t be nervous. I don\'t think the interviewers know more professional knowledge and management experience than we do. However, "first, second, third" is a good style that they like the most when answering questions.

Yes, I am lucky to get the news earlier (within 24 hours from my interview). But I cannot login the web of admitted students yet. http://www.kelley.iu.edu/mba/admitted/index.cfm
I strongly believe that some of you might already be admitted as well. From what they told me, I guess they usually send out packet directly without email notification.
The main purpose of the email I received is to clarify some mistakes and in the meantime, they told me the good news.
So,be a little bit patient.
