how did you handle the difficult team?

A question like these needs a specific example.  I.E.  I try to lead 5 people to accomplish something that didn't matter to any of them.

1.  motivation, try to convey the importance of finishing the project with high quality.  If they didn't care, consider from their perspective and think of ways to persuade them.  i.e  We had a  project at the end of our 3 month new hire training.  It was assigned to us by our boss's boss.  But no one cared except me, because it didn't relate to our current work.  I convinced them, however, on how curcial it is to deliever a great presentation in front of our 2nd line manager because it will reflect our ability.

2.  Once they agree, I carefully assesed each of the team member's ability and plotted our a timeline and thing we should focus on for our final project. 

3.  Initiate regular meetings to make sure that we stayed on target.

4.  Having the willingness to invest more time in the project than anyone else really demonstrated and assured my leadership role -- determination and dedication.

5.  Last but not the least,  keeping my head up, be positive and have fun when things didn't seem to work.
