WUSTL Olin Marketing(Quant) 面经 [2014-02-07]

今天早上10点打来的，skype的video有问题，所以改用语音交流，幸亏还算顺畅。

面试的是Prof. Tat Chan, Prof. Sherif Nasser and Prof. Yuria Nevskaya

问的问题也很简单，

1. Why do you want to do a PhD in Marketing?  How do you think that your quantitative skills could be transferred to MBA students?
2. How do you think of the time-cost of doing a PhD? Why do you want to switch from science to Business?
3. 然后就是针对我的paper问了半个小时，主要是博弈论和Behaviorial Economics的一些概念问题。比如什么情况下是rational, 什么情况下是bounded rational. 其中我说的还算流利，不过有一个概念被Sherif问了好久......

这轮面试过后就是onsite了，基本就差不多定了招什么人。最后他们问了我其他学校的情况，我也就照实说了，呵呵。

PS, 今年的pool的确很强, Olin这边有不少非常出色的人申请。进shortlist的差不多也全部都是名校毕业的.......
