针对这一系列问题，曼彻斯特商学院教授Roy Ng将在本次讲座中，从企业全局角度出发，提出一个系统全面的方法以管理组织的安全风险。这种管理策略有效利用了信息生命周期和信息安全保障体系，针对风险评估点，提出相应的政策、监察系统、安全性审计，从而规范和调整信息安全措施，减少安全漏洞.

The hyper-growth of computing and communications technologies increase s security vulnerabilities to organizations. Traditional approaches to risk a ssessment focusing on either the departmental or branch level lacks of an enterprise perspective. Many organizations assess and mitigate security ris ks from a technology perspective and deploy technology solutions. This ap proach ignores the importance of assessing security risk in policy and exec ution.

Prof. Roy Ng’s lecture will present a systematic and a holistic approach to managing security risk. An approach that utilizes the information life cycle and information assurance assessment points for the creation of policy, m onitoring, auditing of security performance, regulate and initiate corrective action to minimize vulnerabilities.

He was a founding partner in a telecommunications consulting and IT project management startup company.
