The MSIS Program, offered through the Decision, Operations, and Information Technology (DO&IT) Department in the Smith School of Business, prepares students to lead in the ongoing technology revolution. The curriculum is taught by DO&IT’s world renown faculty —acknowledged thought leaders in database management, IS security, data analytics, social media and online analytics, project management, strategic and transformational IT, etc.
The Smith School’s strengths in both research and practice are reflected in its rankings and other accolades. The Smith School and the DO&IT Department was recently ranked as one of the top ten tech-centric programs in the US by CIO Magazine. U.S. News and World Report ranks the Smith School as having the fifth best program in management information systems. The Wall Street Journal ranks Smith's information technology program #6. In addition, the school’s full-time, part-time and executive MBA programs are all ranked among the nation’s best.
