Hi, good afternoon.
Me: I'm here applying for student visa. (giving him my passport and I-20)
VO: OK. So you go to~~~? Great.
Me: Yeah, I'm going to pursue my Master Degree there.
VO: So your major is, organizational leadership?
Me: Yeah, leadership.
VO: How long is your program?
Me: 19 months.
VO: OK... tell me something about your program.
Me: (being afraid of being asked a big question like that, and being a little nervous), saying something like "and I want to be a principal now", and "proffesional knowlege combining my working experience will make me the most competitive one in my area" >>>>
VO: OK... (checking my passport carefully) Have you ever been abroad?
Me: Yeah, I went to America last summer, traveling several places like New York, Boston, Washington DC, and Orlando, I love Universal Studio.(try to smile and infect him and fail)
VO: OK...do you remember how long you stay there?
Me: less than one month, I think, maybe 26 days.
VO: (still checking the stamps) About a month, yeah?
Me: You can say that, it was July.
VO: You went to Canada too?
Me: No, I 转机 in Canada.
VO: OK...(此时他开启了敲键盘模式)any relatives in U.S.?
Me: Yeah, my sister ~~. She is working in SF. Would you like to see her(forgetting the word 驾驶证), something about her?
VO: Yes,please.
Me: (give him her license) I also have her, (forget again) tax?(show him on the window)
VO: No, this is enough. (tapping his keyboard, tapping and tapping)
Me: (此时我开启了没话找话说的模式)She has been there for sixteen years.
VO: She is a citizen, yeah?
Me: Yeah
VO: Do you know when she became a citizen?
Me: No, I don't know(really not. better not.)
VO: (after the longest break) Did you married?
Me: Yeah
VO: What do your husband do?
Me: >>> , and this is my family(show him our pictures on the window).
VO: He remains in home?
Me: Yeah, he won't go with me, and 19 months is not a long seperation, you know, he is a teacher
