吃完午饭回来一直睡觉到晚上,上网第一件事就是来CD.很感谢这里的人,这么久来在申请和签证上给予我的帮助. 
5/25 2pm 到沙面.由于中介推荐,入住新华宾馆,价格倒是便宜(180),环境不大好,而且走过去领事馆要15分钟. 后来发现其实没所谓,因为我根本没机会睡,这是后话.
5/25 4pm 有中介打电话给我,说已经开始排队,让我赶快过去.我拿了护照过去,没想到这一去就是一整晚. 不知道是从24还是25号开始, 领事馆门口只准签证者本人持护照进去排队. 我去的时候刚放人进去,我排到65号. 于是开始我长达18个多小时的等待.
5/26 7am 撤走椅子, 开始排队进入安检门前的小广场, 等待交护照,申请费收据,DS表, 同时拿到8:30 49号的牌子, 回到在使馆外的座位,稍作休息.
5/26 8:30 持排再次进入,过安检, 进入大厅,排队打指摸, 被分到2号窗排队.
共3个窗口,1号是棕发gg,2号是棕发眼镜gg,3号是金发gg. 三个都比较帅.2号比较nice,人很耐心,问很多问题,队伍进展缓慢. 3号表情很酷, 好象没有给签过的,大家都在议论是杀手. 我心里暗喜, 被分到好的窗口, 谁知听到3号窗的gg 叫我名字(当时我还在2号队的中间,幸好没在洗手间里), 于是鼓起勇气,走到他面前.
Me: Good morning, sir.
V Morning. How are you doing?
Me: Fine. Thank you.
V(pointing to my visa) So you have been there on J-1?
Me: Yes, I went to San Antonio as an exchange student.
V What about the Two-Year-Rule?
Me: Well, it is subject to immigrate visa applicants, L or H status. I am applying for F-1, so I am not subject to that rule. 
V (smiling and nodding) So what are you up to this time?
Me: I am going to study for my master's degree in science of finance at Univ of **
V Emm. (ask me to show him my admission letter) What is your major? What are you doing now?
Me: Finance. I am graduating from ** Univ in June.
V Have you got any scholarship?
Me: Yes. I've been honored a GA of tuition waivor, a stipend totaling $**, and a ** Fellowship of $**. 
V So what did you do in San Antonio?
Me: I went to study at Univ of ** as an exchange student.
V oh. When did you go there?
Me: I went there in Aug2002, and came back as scheduled in Jul2003.
V (looking at the computer for a while)ok, wait over there and I will call you back. 
Me: ( go to the seat)
忐忑等待中, VO又面试了一两个人.我忽然想起我记错回来的时间了.我是去年5月,而不是7月回来的.我很想冲上去告诉他我记错了回来的时间,可是我忍住了.过了大约5分钟,听见他叫我名字.
Me: Sorry, sir. I made mistake. I came back in May not July last year. It's been a long time. And I bring with me a lot of materials as support.
V (smiling) It's ok. (Then he said something that surprised me) Whatever you want, just tell me. (looking at me and smiling and he touched the green cards with his fingers) So what is your plan?
Me: I plan to come back and work in large international corporations.( I was about to go on to details, but it seemed he felt like talking)
V So you will come back China. ( get a green card) Come tomorrow afternoon and get your visa.
Me: Thank you! Have a nice day!
