[已录] SMU MSBA 19 Fall 面经 with Hettie [2019.02.01]

更新一下：今早（2.9）早上6点半收到 SMU 申请系统 update 的邮件，已经被录啦。

第一个真人面试第一个 offer，希望接下来有更多面试。

也祝大家 offer 多多！

2.1：

Hettie 非常直接，不需要自我介绍，她直接开始。

Q：

1. Programming experience（其实软件运用都可以说，和 data/code 有关的就行）
2. 说说为啥对 BA 感兴趣
3. 以前的工作/实习经验
4. 毕业之后干啥（就是 career goal 的问题）
5. 交换经验，study abroad experience（如果你有交换经历的话才会问到）
6. 为什么选择 SMU
7. 有申别的学校吗？有没有 offer？

我准备的问题以及 Hettie 的回答：

1. From your website, I have seen that there are two tracks under business analytics program. Could you please tell me when and how the students will be asked to choose the track？

H：其实是没有严格的分 track 的（所以申请系统里面才不用选吧），只是可以选择不同的 elective class，意味着两个 track 的课你都可以选。

2. Could you please tell me how was the employment rate in the last year? Especially the Chinese. How many of them come back home?

H：很少有 Chinese 回国，大概就1-2个人。

美国本土学生的就业率大概 90+%，international 的大概 82/3% 这样的……具体的 number 没记清楚。

3. How many people do you plan to accept and what’s number of people who have already been admitted to your program?

H：今年预计招120人。160发了 offer，deposit 有57人。（具体数字我也不确定……有点紧张）

整个过程17分钟。

Hettie 提前6分钟给我在 Skype 上打了个招呼。

Timeline：

1.7 提交，1.10收到面试邀请，结果 Hettie 说直接预约到了2.1号（估计她比较忙）

Hettie 说了两周之后给结果。2.9 系统显示收到 offer 啦。
