VO: Your passport，please。 (换成英文了）

我递给了他护照和I20。

他先翻了一下护照，问：Please give me your old passports。

当时我心里有点儿慌，因为我很早的时候有过一本护照，当时是小学去的香港和泰国和初中去的英国办的短期签证，但是早就不知道 放哪儿了，也懒得找了。然后我赶紧回复他：I  don't have the old one。 然后白人小哥马上说ok，然后我又接着补充：I apply for this new one  when I was traveling to Singapore in 2013。（现在回想起来我应该是说错话了，明明有怎么能说没有）

VO: Where you take this program？

我: Hoboken city，New Jersey，Stevens Institute of Technology。（有点紧张语速有点快）

VO：What Institute of Technology？好像没听清楚我的发音，然后突然自己说：oh Stevens。

VO: Who pay the tuition？(看了一会儿I20问到）

我：Me，I take care of myself。

VO：Why this program？（紧接着又问）

我：When I was at work， I found myself lack of quantitative skills  to process data。That's the reason why I take this program。I can use  the knowledge I learned from the program to solve out program in real  working environment。

VO: emmm，that make sense。 (点点头，此时我内心窃喜)

VO: Where do you live? （又看了看屏幕）

我："Haidian District， 我家小区名字," （VO没啥反应）

VO: When you resign your job?

我：November,2016

VO听完之后沉思了片刻，说：hmmm，so it's last year。我赶紧附和yes。

VO：So what did you do last year？ (马上又问到）

我：I prepared for the exam for several months，mainly for TOEFL  and GMAT exam。 And then my grandmother had a surgery so I took care of  her for a couple of months。And also I took a part-time graduate program  but I haven't finished my final thesis yet。 So I'm really trying work  hard on it。(基本是原话，可能语法有错误，VO听完点了点头。）

VO：What's the program all about?

我：This is two years  program， from January，2018 to December，2019。It's four semesters with  36 credits。 As long as you fins all the credits，you can graduate from  this program。 小哥此时一直在注视着我，我也赶紧跟他含情脉脉对视一下，接着补充: The courses contain three  parts， the mathematics，the programming and the business。 我刚想把  Business related courses说出来，还没等我说完，小哥突然把一张蓝纸递给了我然后说: I'm glad to tell  you that your visa has been approved。 听完之后没反应过来，楞了一两秒，然后说: oh, I really appropriate that man。 他说: no problem，you're welcome。然后我就非常开心地说：have a  nice day。 然后他也回我：have a nice day。我走出去之后看了一下时间，才9点多，还不到一个小时。



根据这次经验，我想简单总结一下我的经历：

签证的通过率跟在哪里进行面签毫无关系，网上都说日坛分部面签通过率高，我感觉纯粹是胡扯。就我亲眼目睹就有几个被拒的，而且也不全是学术签，很多旅游签和公务签。不过赶上了第一批进去，效率高倒是真的。
要打印面试预约单（发到邮箱里面那个），进门的时候要用到。
做一个学习计划会很有效果，因为除了面试官可能要看之外，做一个详细的学习计划能够更好地帮助自己梳理问题，从而在头脑中形成框架，充分的准备可以在面试的时候从容不迫。我自己写了一个3页的学习计划，其中包括自我介绍、为什么要
