报过offer了，但是拖了很久，受版主要求，记几笔申请总结吧。希望来年的同学们都能有好的收获

背景：PKU 金融本科，IBD 2年，PE 2年；G/T 710 113；GPA 3.3
申请：Stanford / HBS / CBS (Rugular Round) / Booth / Wharton
面试：HBS / CBS / Booth / Wharton
Decline w interview： HBS / Booth
Decline w/o interview: Stanford

去年十月中旬决定要申请的，10月22号考T（G在四年前考过了），出了成绩之后开始一边工作一边选校、写essay、找推荐人。
明白自己GT和GPA都不高，也没办法花100%的精力，所以整个过程很平和，没有找中介，仅把这段经历当作整理心情和重新认识自己的过程。由于反复叨扰一些朋友，也多了一些深交的好伙伴，算是一大收获。

Columbia MBA
1. Go through resume
2. What's the most important lesson you've learned from XXX (my first employer)
(found we knew some common friends, chit chat)
3. Why MBA, why CBS
4. What is your expection of the school
5. 3 or 5 words to describe your strengths
6. examples of one of the words above
7. Your view about XXX (my professor from college)
8. Ethical dilema (required by the school)
9. Questions for him. We discussed about the China community and students life. Chit chat again.

Beijing. Very kind and smart alum. Interviewed at his office. Around 1 hour.

Chicago Booth MBA
1. Resume walk through, lots of follow up questions
2. Life in Beijing v.s. Hong Kong
3. Work environment in big firm v.s. small platform
4. Leadership example
5. Conflict solving example
6. Career plan post MBA
7. Questions for him, chit chat

Beijing. Enjoyed this interview v much. Wrote thank-you letter and received quite positive feedback. Interviewed in his office, 1h30. Unfortunately got declined afterwards..sigh

Wharton MBA
1. Resume walk-through
2. describe a time you manage senior people in your team
3. whether you have lead a team into failure or unsuccessful results, if possible, how will you redo it.
4. ever participated in a negotiation process? what's your contribution?
5. Questions for her. We discussed about how wharton gonna make sure students got well mixed and have exposure to the diversity of the community. She shared the study experiences of his son (a current wharton student)

Beijing hub. Blind interview with admissions officer. 30 min sharp.

HBS MBA
1. Update since submission
2. Life in PKU
3. What differenciate you from rest of PE applicants
4. What do you think makes a qualified PE investor
5. Why CFA
6. What's your expectation of the peak of your career

Shanghai hub. No questions for interviewer. 30 min sharp.
